Many will involve leadership of some sort, and some will require a team. Most will directly involve SeeD, and with the exception of promotion or a few other crossover areas, members will probably see a division between what is SeeD and what is CurvedSpace. That's intended... SeeD is a guild, and CurvedSpace is a community. Both are locked together and share each others' successes, but SeeD and CurvedSpace should not be alternate names for each other.
Anyway, expect the missions to be somewhat challenging or extensive. Not work, but usually extensive in scope. One's "Rank" will mean something and won't generally be handed out easily. While they can still be given for reasons completely unrelated to missions, missions will always be a sure way to gain promotions for oneself.
So... what are the missions I'm giving?

Runescape Re-Awakening
The Focus: The return of our Runescape Faction as a player in its arena.
The Leader: The leader will need to be verified before the operation begins. It is not a selective role but only one party should be attempting this at a given time.
The Party: The leader (verified) and up to 7 others of the leader's choosing. All involved (up to eight including the leader), should the objectives be completed, will receive a Rank promotion. If the objectives are well exceeded the possibility exists for additional promotions.
The Timeframe: Starting as soon as possible, lasting as long as necessary.
The Objectives:
- Promotional threads will be maintained on major Runescape communities, where allowed, excluding RSC. By "maintained" they should not be bumped as would infringe on the given community's rules, but they should be kept active in at least one active forum at any given time during the operation. Interest should be directed to our site, with focus placed on posting in the Lobby.
- For every three days during the operation there should exist at least one event for the RS Faction (which can be pseudo-spontaneous). The party conducting the operation should make an attempt to push those events, which can include parties or PKing if desired (as well as more creative events). Try to include some variety.
- The operation will end when the RS Faction's updated member list once again reaches our old goal of 64 members, and activity in the faction visibly picks up both on the forums and in-game at events. For those who remember, 64 members was our original goal back in 2002. This can be taken as us retracing our steps back to our peak in Runescape, and as such follow-up missions will exist to push the guild beyond this operation. Given our current support, we can easily do this at an accelerated rate.
Estimated Length For The Operation: Given attempts at leadership and teamwork, it can be accomplished in fewer than two weeks. Enough can be involved for this to not be difficult, nor for it to be a burden for any single member involved.
Future Projection: In the spirit of retracing the RS Faction's steps, follow-up missions will exist to further push the Faction to what was once its peak (and with support, well beyond that point). We can easily do it, we just need to work together at it.
Final Note: Since this is a concentrated attempt at boosting activity, I will recommend that our generic recruitment thread is not used. Members of other communities may end up seeing a bit about SeeD, and we don't want all the threads to seem scripted. A thread that is spontaneous and true will beat any generic thread, and it does not need to be anywhere near as long. Don't be afraid of looking different... Feel free to push our free aspects and lack of requirements, they are attractive to many even if "cool" clans all conform with each other. Our strength is a contrast with the norm. For those with concerns, saying that SeeD is free doesn't make us like UFF, we've always pushed that going back to 2001. To ensure that we don't come off that way, just don't put down other clans for conforming or having requirements, it's not our issue.
To help with maintaining promotional threads, more than one SeeD may post in a single thread.

Aderon's New Battle
The Focus: To bring activity to our Guild Wars faction and increase its reputation.
The Leader: Just post a thread in the DoA forum that you're going for this. You don't need to be verified.
The Party: One leader (self-proclaimed). The leader will receive one Rank promotion.
The Timeframe: As long as necessary.
The Objective: Organize a group (and recruit if necessary) to win three unrated guild matches against adversaries who are using full 8-member teams. They don't need to be won sequentially, but screenshots should be taken as proof of each victory and the members involved. The matches must be GvG matches, in a guild hall, and not just in arena battles. These battles must be won by the Defenders of Aderon without support from our alliance.
Terms of Success: The objective is completed.
Estimated Length for the Operation: As long as necessary. It can be as short as a day with good conditions, or a bit longer if needed.
Future Projection: None determined thus far.
Final Note: Don't think of this as work, have as many battles as you want, it can be fun and personally rewarding at the same time. PvP characters can be used if needed.
