Geez, JaGeX pretty much just bowwed down like {expletive Chuck Norris'd by Cspace}es, some of the topics had like 50 pages of "I support" and the "disscusion" topic had like 1000+ pages.

I used Blaze RX and walked around saying I'm using a World Switcher, report me {expletive Chuck Norris'd by Cspace}es!

Blaze (The owner of Blaze RX, a program smiliar to SS) went berserk over this, he put his front page of the program, which is used only for updates, to rant, and he wouldn't shut upon the Blaze IRC chat. He was saying he was just about to release a new Blaze RX, putting SS and the old Blaze RX to shame, and he said we should all like spam runescape, and have a massive quit, and after getting like over 2500 signatures (within like, 3 hours), he sent it to JaGeX.

Nice to see JaGeX's listening though.

And Jagex didn't listen. They caved.

And I wouldn't have reported you for using a client, I probably would have if you ran aorund saying that, though. I know I did to other people.

There will always be riots. But Runescape isn't a democracy. In the end, jagex has the power, and that is that. Riots don't help at all.

Sorry to argue, but they did. RuneScape is a democracy, because when it comes down to it, the players are where Jagex gets its money. If Jagex doesn't please the players, they lose cash.

And Jagex NEVER wants to lose cash.. icon_sweatdrop.gif

As long as there's a free version, and as long as there are players that are spoiled enough to whine about anything Jagex DOESN'T do to pander them....

Its a shame Blaze is apparently Nothing like Strider. While one whined, one worked. Guess who we should thank that an agreement was reached at least.

Besides, if the 'riots' continued, it would've gotten boring eventually and people would stop just like what happened after Mass Ban #2.

Strider really made something good when he wanted an agreement with jagex.

Yes. Props to Strider for actually taking constructive steps to fixing the problems. That's something about this whole situation that shines through most of it. Strider took the rights steps to resolve the problem.

Unlike Blaze who threw a hissy fit and instructed his 'followers' to cause an upheaval.

Okay, I'm not sure if yall noticed, but the noobs who held the riot were spamming "SAVE SS PL0X" No where did you see blaze used, and BTW Strider co-owns both SS and Blaze

Well, the Co-owner Strider took better steps towards fixing the problem than Blaze telling you to spam the game.

Eh... I was on 27 for a bit taking people to Ice Plateau for free as I was feeling generous... It really was pathetic the spam in the middle... I left before it became too serious as I knew the J mods were coming and didnt want to risk anything

This is hilarious. Whats next? You cant use firefox because of adblock? Besides, even if they instantly banned you for using a 3rd party client you can always spoof it to look like IE6 to jagex.

These people are one of the main reasons I left RS... Ill stick to loudmouth FPS players tyvm... at least they have double digit IQs
