As for the discussion regarding a promotional thread... I wasn't really intending for another generic promotional thread to be put together and used for this, but for members to be a little more spontaneous and write their own threads. Nothing wrong with setting up a new full-fledged promotional thread, but since a lot of these threads could end up posted during the mission, we probably don't want them all looking exactly the same. The threads members post don't need to be nearly as long as the one I set up in Announcements, they can actually be short and still be effective. Recruiting isn't as difficult as some make it out to be.

But still, that is just a recommendation. It's fine if the promotional thread I wrote is used, and it's awesome if another is written, but in these circumstances I'm not sure that we should be posting the same thing in so many places at once... At least I don't think they should be posted in their entirety.

To tell the truth I don't see much of that beyond the Lobby, if anywhere at all.

Hm must of misread your mission thread hehe Well still, I think its a good idea to work together and make a brand new Recruitment thread based on our RS faction. The members will be able to do there own little bits, making sure everyone is happy with it before its posted.

Anyways, I generally only play RuneScape regurally during the summers. Besides, I haven't really considered myself to be "in SeeD" in a couple years. I just consider myself an occasional visitor of Curved Space.

Indeed, it would still be awesome if everyone would like to put something new together.

It could still be used for this, but after the concentrated recruiting is over there won't be any problem using such a thread in its entirety.

While it's still required that threads are posted and maintained on other communities, I'm dropping the aspect where they must be maintained daily. It wouldn't be fair and it's hard to determine if this is actually accomplished.

Apparently you misunderstood me. I was referring to the mission specifically, the "Create SeeD Threads on Other Sites" idea, not recruitment in general. After all, the Cspace quote is about the specified mission and so is nearly this entire thread.
