). I have decided to come out of GW retirement and return to my former guild to help get things moving again!First, let me give you a little history (for those who don't know). I started playing Guild Wars in July or August 2005. At the time I was sharing an account with a friend. At first I didn't like the game, so I just quit (that's not uncommon for me, I did the same thing with RS back in the day). After learning that Jonny (Farneka) had purchased the game, I decided to join up with DoA. I believe I joined DoA in October of 2005. Things went great from there, I was immersed in the game and vigorously leveled up characters. Late 2005 to early 2006 were the glory days of DoA, my friends. I was introduced to the practice of farming by Moo and Andrew, and became enraptured with the riches that I heard about. I became a skilled, avid, and wealthy farmer within a few months. These also were the glory days of Prophecies. Servers were full to the brim and PUGs were never hard to find. DoA at this time was sort of split into two camps: the non-farmers and the farmers. The non-farmers (no offense to them
) enjoyed the fun aspect of the game: Quests, Missions, hanging out in the Guild Hall, etc. The farmers really wished to have guild members to farm with, instead of strangers all the time. Conflicts arose, and the farmers left (including myself). I was still on good terms with DoA, but I wanted to move on. I then tried to find a good guild, but to no avail. So, I decided to start my own guild with the former farmers from DoA. A few stayed for a while, but then they left to explore other guilds. Myself and a friend stayed in the guild, trying to recruit members for GvG, which I had become interested in. It was hard for a PvE person like me to figure out what I was doing and attempt to get into PvP arenas, let alone recruit others for a guild. Alas, I gave up frustrated and retired from Guild Wars in June 2006. During the 6 months that I was retired, I concentrated on further musical learning, which I don't regret at all
.Having said all this, I am offering my help to anyone in the guild who needs it. I also am ready for an active role in the guild once again and am ready for new prospects, which I assume to be PvP. Here is what I have to offer:
I have the Prophecies and Factions campaigns, but not Nightfall (I have yet to decide if I am going to purchase it). I have completed almost all aspects of both campaigns. With my long-term memory and a little help from GuildWiki, I can answer most of your questions. I also can offer advice and guidance. If you need help with something, or would like to go farming or exploring, I have these characters to offer you:
- Fish For God: Mo/Me. Available for Healing, Active Protection, and Bonding.
- Aaron The Hunter: R/Mo. Available for Barrage/Pet and Trapping.
- Vires Ingenium: E/Me. Available for Nuking.
- Medea Sanguis: N/Mo. Available for Minion Master, Orders, or Battery.
- Persephone Selene: Rt/Me. Available for Support Healing, Spirits, Damage, and Solo Farming.
All listed Characters are Level 20 and Ascended. All are Prophecies characters except for Persephone Selene, who is a Factions character. I have a 6th open slot that I can use for a PvP character, but I am also considering making a new solo farm Factions character. If you are starting in Factions, I can help you along.
