The administrator of another site I moderate at has created a myspace-like site where you can create an an account, make profiles, add friends and a bunch of other stuff. This was just created about two weeks ago, so it's completely fresh, and there are sure to be updates on the way (since he hopes for it to be as big as those other sites out there related to this). I thought that this could help CurvedSpace because we can be one of the first clubs that helps build the supports for this site, thus we can get more traffic, and we can bring more traffic to that site.

Here are some current features:
  • Your own profile.
  • Add people as friends.
  • Instant messaging.
  • Create and join clubs.
  • Upload photos, music, videos.
  • Add uploaded music to your profile.
  • Blogs.
  • Forums.
The interface isn't 100% user-friendly at the moment, so if you have any questions just ask -- although it really isn't too hard to figure out for 98% of it. The admin set the CurvedSpace Club I created as a Featured Club, so hope you guys will sign up and join so that we can help build the site. grnwink.gif

I talked about it a little with Cspace, and we don't have that many announcements anyways, so.. meh.

I'm not into Myspace either (I actually prefer Facebook), but I liked this new site since it's usable for online-people stuff, instead of school-friends.
