This poll is anonymous and I ask that members vote honestly (please don't consider voting "null"). I also ask that you don't vote if you don't consider yourself a SeeD.
I'm just trying to find something tangible to use for giving our RS Faction some direction, and I greatly appreciate your feedback. Feel free to reply with further discussion along these lines.

Already I can locate some reasons that we're not moving. I know we don't have many votes at this moment, but I may as well start a discussion.
- In late 2002 and through 2003, many belonged to other RS communities. Being there, they didn't hesitate to mention their guild at least in their signatures. Having a presence on such communities helps a lot more than some expect, and at this moment apparently no one is active on other RS communities (currently five votes for not being active on any). We can't say "no, you must be active!", but we can say "let's find another way".
I guess it was my flaw for thinking that we still have members on such communities, we may need to look elsewhere.
- Only about half of us use the primary servers. Why? The RS world is small enough that it's feasible for members to run into each other. It only takes a moment to find the servers in the list (and they both end with a zero, which helps them stand out).
- Most seem willing to invite new members given an opportunity (not sure exactly why any of us would ignore someone who seems interested in our guild). We can bring a lot of such opportunities to us by choosing appropriate locations for events, and by being aware of those around us. Seeing our lack of activity on other RS communities, maybe this is something we should look into.
- There's only one vote at this moment saying that SeeD isn't his/her primary guild, with the rest saying that it is. That's pretty good, we should improve our guild to justify that for everyone. No reason to turn the other way when a member is trying to build something, we need to seek the same goals. Seeing how we probably have the same goals, I'm not sure how difficult that should be.
- Two votes for growth, two for stability, one for competition. Maybe we should follow the progression that we already know works, and take from our mistakes to guide our guild even further than it's been before. Focus on growth, then community and stability, then get out there and make a name for ourselves. It's not as difficult as it seems if we take things a step at a time. If I said "we'll be around in 2007 as a gaming community and multi-game guild" back in 2001, I'd get a lot of
looks because we had a lot less than the RS Faction, alone, has right now. Take things a step at a time and you may surprise yourself.

I don't use the primary worlds because my clan and 2 allied clans use world 101. I dont' add other SeeDs because my friends list is so full with my clan and other allied clan names. In my clan I mention SeeD and in other clans. I can't consider SeeD myprimary clan because-I'm sorry but-I must keep my own as my first consern.
