Note that I made a change which may have logged you out just before I posted this thread... This is normal, just log back in.

There's apparently a bug with cookie expiration, which is a new feature that makes a cookie invalid if the member doesn't log in for the specified length of time. It was causing some members' cookies to become invalid unnecessarily (it doesn't affect everyone). I disabled the feature until a patch is available, and I believe that this will allow for everyone to stay logged in.

For those who were experiencing the problem, please delete your cookies set by CurvedSpace. There's a link at the bottom of the board index that will do it for you. You could also hit the "Logout" button I added at the top. Then log back in.

If after clearing your cookies (and logging back in) you still experience the issue, please let me know. Thanks

I cleared my cookies (though the link at the bottom of the forums), logged back into the forums, went afk for a few hours, just came back now, and I was logged out again. =\

Try clearing your cookies again and log back in. If it happens again let me know.

I did that, left for a little while, just came back now, and was logged out again. Although, that may be due to you just putting in that bar at the top, so I dunno.

I'm not hearing of this problem from anyone else, at least following my initial fixes. You're sure that this isn't happening on other sites for you as well? Maybe the board isn't clearing everything, perhaps if you haven't you should try clearing them using the browser.

There's a bug related to cookies that will be fixed in the next patch, but as far as I know, turning off expiration should have solved the problem.

Other forums still work alright for me. Oh well, I'll see tomorrow. And if it doesn't work out I can just settle with logging in each time.

Just wondering, are you using www.cspacezone.com or a subdomain? It's possible that an issue could be linked to using a subdomain.

Anyway, it's a problem that I want to fix, but I'm afraid that we may need to wait for the next patch where the bug will be addressed. Very sorry about that, I'm not sure why it's doing this. If you haven't, maybe you should try clearing all your cookies (if it's not a problem). The board may not have cleared everything, and before I disabled the problematic features it would have stored an extra cookie for validating your session.

I use www.cspacezone.com. I'll try out different setting and cookie clearing to see if it works.

Removed all the cookies and whatnot.. still not working. >_< Do you think a firewall could be a problem?
