From todays newspaper:

Yep.

An infallible reason as to why today, the 26th of February, should always be remembered as World Flamethrower day.

Now we just need to get this turned into a public holiday, any helpers with friends in high places?

Flamethrowers are ancient weapons. I think the greeks made them first.

I'm guessing it would depend on what your definition of a 'flamethrower' actually is.

Sounds good to me, I don't think flamethrowers get enough recognition in society. bluetongue.gif

Personally, I thought that part on that paper talking about the mad cow disease was far more interesting grnwink.gif

Something that puts Target object "Fire" on target subject "person-you-want-to-be-BBQ'd".

Really fast, and in big amounts.
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

I remember hearing a quote I really liked, ages ago.

QUOTE(George Carlin)
The existence of the flame thrower is proof that, at one point, someone said, 'I really want to light those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough.'

You shouldn't have expected it to take very long, either bluetongue.gif

I would support Flamethrower Day, if I thought my property and I could survive it.

You mean, Greek fire? The Byzantine Greeks apparently found a way to make a liquid incendiary device that could even float on water. Started out throwing rags soaked in it, but apparently figured out a way to blow it onto enemy ships and things.

And I actually find it funny a ranch owner sued Oprah for pointing out Mad Cow Disease.

I like the idea of today being more towards mourning the bombing, but that just shows where ya'lls priorities are
