Neraphym translates...
"it was then that they came, invading the tome of the gods’ lore… their dark magicks corrupting this place where so many have come for solace or training… i am the last of us, the guardians of the sages, the last of those untainted, and i know that soon their untoly powers will claim me as well… i know only th--."
He finishes...
"What could this mean?"
Neraphym takes the urn and heads back to the main room (as long as nothing bad happens after taking the urn).

The two meter by two meter circle between the pedestals begins to rise up, parts shaped like pie wedges stopping in sequential order as it went up. Directly above the circled on the ceiling, the floor also begins to come down, doing similarly, until what seems to be a spiraling marble staircase lies before you, going up to the next floor.

You are in the middle of an enormous circular room, having a diameter of at least one hundred or so meters (so any wall is about fifty meters away). The room is several times taller than it is wide. It seems to go up for a few hundred meters. Along the outer edge of the room is an eloquent staircase. It seems to become level every once in a while, and you can tell that whenever it does, there is a door on the wall. Directly in front of you, about ten meters away, is the beginning of the staircase. As exquisite as this room seems to be, it is in the same state of disrepair as the rest of the library and maze and such.
