I tend to think of life seperated by: School/Work and Everything else.
So, in school, I once was in the Science room, and we were doing a lab, and had out hot-plates, and one guy dared to put my hand on one, after I did slowly, I relised it wasn't even plugged in, and I walked around half the room touching all the hotplates, and they were all unplugged, so then I go to my table, and someone called me, so I turn around, put my hand on the hot-plate (unconsiously or w/e, I didn't mean to, just wanted somewhere to lean on) and leaned on that hand, needless to say, every hot plate in the whole room was unplugged.... except mine >_<
After "dancing" around the room, the teacher opened her 'lil box of ice that was supposed to be used for the experiment, and I got my sweet relief. xD
It didn't really hurt when I put my hand on the hotplate, only a little bit, but I didn't notice it that much, but then when I leaned, it burned like hell
And, I similarly did Karate, Kempo/Kenpo (depending on the translator) to be exact. To give you the basics, it's about countering your opponents movements, and using it against them, and it requires alot of concentration, and swift, but controled movement. So on my third tournament, it was... I think the second to last round, and the special stipulation, was that you had to fight 2 of the opponents you beat eariler in the tournament. I'm not sure if you could understand it well from the brief description I gave you, but Kempo is tailor-made for regular tournaments, which are controlled one on one matches. There's little to no focus on handicap fights, so after almost knocking out one of the fighters, I went to the other one, tried to concentrate, and awaited his move (Kempo's not meant to "provoke" fights, very little on starting movements, I usually just do my moves to counter what they do, not a very physical style, but very effective if used right, and very flashy, xD) and he did a simple roundhouse kick, I doged it, and quickly ran in to take him down using his other leg, only to sidestep right into the other fighter's "knife edge", basically, a running kick right to the neck.
After that, I was completely out. xD
