"You did not answer my question. Why have you come to my city, Xinxion? There is no alliance between the city you hail from and mine; you should be glad that my guards did not attack you on sight. Answer me."

Xinxion smirks again. Seemingly pleased with himself.

"Most of what I've asked you is rhetoric anywho."
Xinxion turns away for a moment, and seems about to walk off, when he turns back to Oric and asks, "Did I actually say I desired trust and allegiance? Or did I merely pose those thoughts to you."

The voice comes from behind Oric. There, a tall, well-built Aphorite stands proudly behind you. He is dressed in a heavily decorated outfit bearing the DASE insignia on the front. He came alone, but you get the feeling that this man needs no escort. At his side hangs a large, powerful-looking sword, though he does not seem to be looking for an excuse to draw it. He speaks.
"Hello King Oric. I am the God-Marshal Dekzer of the Dark Aphorite Star Empire. To my knowledge, you served as head of security under God-Admiral Neraphym. I believe he was looking for you, though it is nothing urgent. He said he has found something you would be very interested in. A sword, perhaps? Alas, I am not here for you. I am here to..."
Another Aphorite just entered behind God-Marshal Dekzer. This one was wearing a much different uniform, though it still bore the DASE insignia. Additionally, this was a female Aphorite. She seemed very young and had long blue hair. A Kusarigama was at her hip, and it's exceedingly large chain was wrapped over her armor.
"We're here to size up your big fish, Xinxion. I'm Varulla, the God-Slayer."
"Varulla, I instructed you to wait on the Descent with the others."
"It's boring up there. Besides, Neraphym is down here somewhere doing who know's what. The two loverbirds are to busy with each other, and the crazy old doctor's too busy with his experiments. No one will play with me!"
"Very well. Oric, this is Varulla. Don't let her looks fool you, she's one of the deadliest assassins in the galaxy. She'll be helping me interview Xinxion. Well, Xinxion."
Dekzer turns his attention to the shadowy figure levitating a few meters away.
"Xinxion, we can clearly see this is an inconvenient time for you. We've set up a course of trials in the whispering wood. If you can make your way through them all, you shall find the two of us waiting for you at the end. Should you survive the final trial, you will be rewarded handsomely..."
Varulla chuckles.
"Yes, but only if you survive! You have two days. Good luck!"
Dekzer and Varulla become surrounded in a pale green light, then they disappear completely.
