In the CP there is something called "Manage Paid Subscriptions". What does a piad subscription do? Is it just for donations, or is it to get more from the site?

Please answer, because this is actually starting to confuse me.

I'm not absolutely positive, but when I noticed that I clicked on it and there was nothing there. I think it might just be a feature of this version of the forum software that's not in use on this site.

Correct! thumb.gif

It's basically a feature of the forum, which can be used by webmasters to provide a way for people to get more use of the forum/website, via a paid subscription(s), however Cspace decided not to implement it on cspacezone.com (he may decide to use it, but AFAIK there are no such plans).

Any way, it is used so people could say purchase custom skins/themes, downloads, games, etc. Since it is usually real money, it has to be something the webmaster(s) created/have the rights to use and charge for.

I hope that answered your questions,
Jeff.

It's a default feature of our forum software that I'm not using, no need to worry about it. bluetongue.gif

You can click it if you'd like, you'll eventually get a screen saying that there are no plans right now.

So yeah, no worries, it's just an extra link in one's control panel that doesn't have a purpose. It's the same for almost every board running version 2.2.x. thumb.gif

It's something to where he could set up a forum specifically for paid members. Think "RuneScape", except CurvedSpace.

Paid members get access to things normal members don't if the webmaster has it set up as so.
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
