Man... huge problem I'm faced with.
I was gonna get a Wii, cause, hell, it looks awesome.
But then I saw Fable 2... and I cried. It's so beautiful. I want, so bad.

360
$400 for "premium" and $475 for elite. If you can afford the elite go for it. Trust me, 120GB is worth it.
The Good
Fable 2
Halo 3
Wonderful highdefness
XboxLive
-The reputation system
Oblivion
Gears of War
Rainbow 6 vegas
GRAW 2
Cameras
Good arcade that is (supposedly) going to get better (DOOM on a 360!!!)
The gamerscore system is fairly neat. But the kids who think they are Jesus-in-a-bunny-suit just because they can afford the 50 games it took to get that score suck.
The Bad
System instability
-Occasional crashes/freezes that I think are related to the dashboard (there's an update that's going to fix that)
-keep in a well ventilated area or your 360 will get too hot. too much heat shortens its life
-make sure to get a NEW 360. The older generations sucked. Actually, just get an elite. Trust me. Its sooo much better
the wireless controllers' battery life sucks. My solution, RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES!
the price
The Ugly
the god awful case design. As soon as your warranty expires get a new case!
Goth kids+xbox live cameras=lawlz
-----------------------------------------
Wii - $250
The Good
The price
Great multiplayer game play (with people in the same room)
I hear lots of complaints about the friend codes thing
Something about being able to buy old nintendo games for the wii *coughromscough*
new improved straps
The Bad
Not for people that are drunk, high, or clumsy morons
Really, I don't know much about the wii.

It sounds like you would probably enjoy the Wii more, simply because it sounds like you would buy the 360 solely for 2 games, instead of a more general interest like in the Wii.

The 360 has been out considerably longer, so as of right now there's simply a larger library of games available for it. There's only a few particularly good Wii games that have been released thus far, a surprisingly slow patch immediately after the launch.
That being said, it's a lot of fun, particularly at parties. And some of the games scheduled for later this year should make it clear to everyone that it's no novelty. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Super Mario Galaxy, Final Fantasy CC: The Crystal Bearers, the new Fire Emblem, Super Paper Mario, Mario Strikers Charged, Battalion Wars, Trauma Center, etc. That's just off the top of my head, there's quite a lot of cool sounding stuff in the works currently. The price is a positive, as is the wifi and free online service. Although for some strange reason there aren't any online-capable games yet
, you can already send messages, buy & download retro games, check out the news and weather, etc. It's got full backwards compatibility towards the Gamecube, and they've said that games that would be better played with a conventional controller will be compatible with the GCN controller or the 'Classic' one they released for the Wii. Admittedly it's not as powerful as the 360, although neither do I think it can be judged on the appearance of the titles released so far. Pretty much no system ever has truly next-gen looking launch titles, it takes a while for developers to get the most out of a system. It's bundled with Wii Sports, which is a lot of fun and is great for convincing non-gamers to pick up a wiimote and give it a shot. The final reason I can think of would have fitted better earlier on, but I felt that it deserved to be pointed out as a pro on its own right.
Super Smash Brothers Brawl.
