Getting to Maw the mountainheart and realizing I dont have a Signet of Capture.

THAT annoyed me.

Going through the FoW on a chest run, realizing I had no keys.

Modifying a crystalline sword as a present for a friend and realizing I was trying to buy a hammer mod.

Hmm, I've also forgotten my Signet of Capture a few times

Even worse is the time I went to capture Searing Flames. I had my Signet of Capture with me, but I forgot to actually use it and capture Searing Flames. But luckily, I didn't go too far before noticing I hadn't captured it.

And finally, I was changing skills from an Air Spiker build to a FoW Echo Nuker build. Swapping attributes completely slipped my mind. My team was wondering why it took nearly 15 minutes to kill the first mob.....

I just recently forgot my Signet of Capture for Hell's Precipice, gotta go back and do that again. Otherwise, I can't really think of funny mistakes that I've made or encountered, just funny people and such. Like people in Lion's Arch asking for runs to Ascalon City.

Actually, I sort of made a drastic mistake last night. I was in the middle of a mission, and I became extremely tired for some reason, and the mission was a little dull. So I went and got a small pillow and put it on the table that my laptop was on. Within 10 minutes I had fallen asleep on it, and later I woke up to a frozen-ish screen with inappropriate language on it.

Those are people arriving from Cantha or Elona, methinks.


Anywho, I've forgotten some ciritcal skills and attributes as all you have mentioned. I don't think have had any experiences beyond those, but I recall one person getting to the forgmaster and she forgot to bring the money required for the armor. It's not just ecto and shards, guys!

Hehe, I think everyone has forgotten a capture sig, and forgotten to reassign attributes properly.

I can't think of any of mine off the top of my head, although I've got wiped on missions a few times because I forgot to unflag henchies/heroes, and ended up fighting high-level mobs solo (such as Varesh). Tanny racked up too much DP and then killed himself with Illusion of Weakness though, that was pretty hilarious.

Me chatting on MSN on one computer while playing GW on another. I was in Ascalon, chatting to Xmadole on the computer next to me and when I looked away from MSN and onto GW, I was killed by Charr. >.<

doing dunes bonus, playing as lynn, we get all the way there and get a nice spawn, kill the boss and set up our vampiric weapons, i consume corspe to the other side and wait for the team to start dying, then realize i don't have rebirth

and on another run through it we get all the way there and not a single person has a vampiric weapon or a saccing skill

and just 20 minutes before this post i went lightbringer point farming in the domain of secrets, completely forgetting not only that i was not in a party, but that i was in a running build
....so i went back in town, changed my skillset
.........forgot to change the attribute points
...............and forgot to add anyone to my party


at this point i decided on sleep being a good course of action

I remember trying to help you guys with the Dunes bonus, and you left res on the heroes, Lynn. Then after the DP had stacked a little and you remembered to turn the regular res spells off, another still had a res sig.

Hmm.. Twice in a row doing Ruins of Morah with Ratty, I forgot to unflag the henchies when we went on to fight Varesh's second form. Didn't notice until Ratty yelled at me.

So yeah, during the free UV weekend, I was pissed off because I couldnt find my -50 cesta.

I looked everywhere.... on all my chars, inventories, EVERYWHERE. Couldnt find it.

I found it tonight.

I've got it equipped on the char i've been playing non-stop for the past few months.

Aaaaaaahhh... I can't believe that I hadnt noticed it..

Nothing major. A Few times during a quest, I'd run through the whole map following that darn green arrow, just to get pissed off, look at the map, and find it was at a city I could just teleport to.

I'm still ashamed of that Illusion of Weakness incident...

There were plenty of times when I first was getting used to the 55 Mesmer build for the UW... most of them consisted of casting all the enchantments on the Lost Soul.

Farming in the desert yet dying after a few hits. Kept racking up DP wondering why it wouldn't work until I realized I had my 55 armour on. Ported back to town and changed armour. Went back outside to try again, only to realize I still hadn't altered my attribute points.

Gone out with my Hero's into high level area's, spent about 20 minutes in, and realized they had no AP points or skills and were set to run away. That was unique. Was wondering why they were being so weird.

Sat down and made an awesome build for about half an hour and then realized it used three professions.

I was trying to cap the mesmer elite panic on my elementalist. You get it from a boss in Hell's Precipice. I got into a team and they wanted someone with a resurrection skill. I volunteered to switch to E/Mo so I could bring res chant. I got all the way to Moleus Quibbus (or as I call him: molests kids), killed him, and realized I was no longer of the Mesmer secondary profession. No panic for me! So I went back last night and got it, finally.
