I've been interested in this game for a while now and now that I finally have a 360 I'm wondering. Is FF XI a good game? It's $20 to buy it + all the expansions. And $13 a month.


Anyone know if it's any good or not?

My Mum recently bought it and ended paying a fortune for it.

- About 340 on the game + expansions
- £40 for a playonline subscription
- £8.99 for a months worth of playing.

I don't know if she did anything wrong but thats alot for one game @_@

She being playing the game for a couple of days now and has stopped. Hehe she thinks its boring. But then again she prefers games with a straight forward story line, but in this game its basically quests and talking to other people.

12.99$ for FFXI and 1 Character and a Dollar each for each new Content ID you make.

Dude how many characters does your mom have cause I pay 14$ a month for the game total I've payed 40$ for game and first month fee (I got for 360 cause I dont have admin rights on computer anymore)

Farming Silks and Tree Cuttings in Rolanberry Fields and a good thing you guys they brought back FFVII's Breeding chocobos costs 1k to get an egg at Jeuno (lvl 15 minimum) if you wonder how you get an airship pass yo must get to Rank 5 In the Storyline. Its Rank 4 or 5 Reward. To ride a City chocobo need lvl 15 but first need to do friends of the Chocobos quest which requires min. Lvl20.

I think it was your sister that was on a few days ago... it gets confusing when multiple people share gamertags.

Any word on if the monthly fee will drop any time soon? Or if there is a discount? I just can't part with roughly $15 a month for a game that i may or may not play often. Work + College = lame.
