Another thing I wanted to get opinions on. Ari was bugging me to join in the contest. I'm kinda of the opinion that it's a little... unusual for the organizing person to actually be able to win stuff, and that if we had a reasonable amount of people entering it wouldn't be too necessary for me to do so. I'll leave the issue up to the masses though, since I don't really care whether I'm a participant or not.

I think you should participate because there isn't really a good reason for you not to. It's not like you're going to run off with the prizes or something. We sort of know where you live...

If anyone objects Ari will be responsible for the organizing of the contest and back down so you can participate.

I'd much prefer that Ari had a chance to win stuff than that I did, so that last alternative doesn't really work for me.

I don't think Ari wants to win stuff. And I'll have to pull extra favors to make sure that you do participate, so why don't we just do this the easy way...

if you're really concerned, find a neutral third party to dispense the prizes

but if the both of you don't participate i'm withdrawing too :-p
on the grounds that we're all officers and it wouldn't be fair :-p

I proclaim that all officers and members must participate and that the guild leader should not have to participate and should be the person to dish out the prizes.

ooooorrrrrr since we all know we are trustworthy (or at least where some other people live :-p) we dun really need a neutral party at all!

How about noone participates so that these titles remain un-touchable and legendary?

Bah, everyone trying to weasel out of winning.

Guess I'll have to participate and still run it so that nobody else can use that as an excuse, then.

I just thought it was better to check, since it's usually the case that organizing people can't take part in this kind of thing. Then again we're all trustworthy as Lynn said, with the possible exception of Ari. (wherever she's gotten to recently)

So... Yeah, I'll go update the nominations now that's settled, I guess.
