I got fed up with literal groups of people who would collaborate and plan things along the lines of "Okay, get everyone you know on -day- and -hour- in -city- and we'll all spam @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@. It'll be fun."

And a community with an average IQ of around 70

I was a member in the ooooold world runescape for about two years before RS2 went into beta. Truth be told I miss most those early days where runescape was just a place I could see my friends and play around. I like runescape's unique systems for everything, but I do feel the game just became way overcrowded with immature children. Then most of my friends stopped playing, then all of my friends stopped playing. I just... stopped. For about a year I wasn't playing, but I was still paying for members, but then I just figured that it was a nearly complete waste of my money.

Now the same sort of thing is happening to WoW... I don't have as many friends playing, so much of the alliance is the same immature children, and I won't play the horde because I actually dive into the story of the game, and I just can't agree with anything the horde stands for. I really am considering quitting, but I need some online game. This is why I'm patching SWG right now. 14 day free trial... Why not? If that doesn't work out, maybe I'll try GW, I dunno.

I think the average IQ of a player is 60.

I think the average age of people who play is 10.

Community sucks.

Everybody fails at english.

People dont realize it is a game.

Runescape is where 8 year olds find out that they can say {expletive ninja'd by Cspace} you without getting "told" off.

After a while people realize and think to themselves, wait, this game does suck, its really a piece of {expletive ninja'd by Cspace}ing {expletive hax0rd by Cspace}, and you quit.

I live about 3 miles from Jagex "Headquarters," funny.

You know what, now I remember something. I was showing this one guy to play (last year) and I made the mistake of wearing my normal stuff (Torags helmet, obsidian shield, rune platebody&legs, amulet of glory, obsidian cape, rune boots, and dragon longsword) in world 1. When I was leading my friend to Varrok, there were 3 bottom feeders trailing me asking for free stuff because I was a level 87, and they thought I actually wasted my time trying get rich.

I guess you guys really have a point about the RS community.

no... your not supposed to get it, that makes it funny.

Because every other MMO out there is better. Even WoW. Yes. WoW is better. You don't see me say that often.

I finished all the F2P quests, been to every place a nonmember can go, found that you have to either buy the GP or get super lucky to get filthy rich... or succeed at the flipping notes thing. Nobody will trade with me except on world 16 at the air temple (runecrafters buying 25 unnoted ess for two thousand gold peices and 25 noted ess).

Even after finishing the last F2P quest around a year and a half ago to two years or something like that, i keep playing. I've slowed the amount i play, but i still play from time to time.(i've been playing for somewhere around 2&1/2-3 years)

The only thing i really have to look up to now is to raise my combat levels (attack, strength, range, deffense, maybe magic, and health should go way over) then become a member and buy Dharok's greataxe then do the barrows stuff to get more barrows equipment or buy the other stuff. thats all i have to look up to now.

PS. i have no idea how people who have been F2P make millions per hour, it doesn't make sense. i'm almost tempted to break the rules and buy gold peices for barrows equipment... who cares, i have two friends who have done it before and gotten tons of "awesome" stuff. in fact, one of those friends is my former SeeD partner, he hasn't been on Cspace for quite a while now.
