Alright. For like 2 days now, Me and Grimbold have been roleplaying new characters in Runescape. Basically.. you enter the world, and you start off by looking for the leader of a faction to give you quests. These Quests will allow you to find youur calling in the world. And when we have enough players, we will disable the ability to purchase from NPC's (except for sales people for gen stores) Anyway, If you want to Roleplay.. here are the rules.

-Must start a brand new Character, with nothing except what he comes equipped with.

-You cannot PM in game. All important Information (like newspapers) Will be available in the forum. I'll see if we can get some forums here... whenever people have to register on my different forums, everyone forgets it exists.. So one here would be easy. (There is an item that allows you to PM)

-Quests can only be taken by finding an NPC (That I roleplay) to give you the quest.

-Capes are to show honor. Unless you have a position in a faction, you can only wear black capes.

-The three starting players (Perulian, Isilur, and Certicas) have sacred items. They started with them, and they will keep them unless they are lost in combat.

-You must turn on Chat and Private message blocks. However, you must add all people whoa re roleplaying, so you can hear what they say in regular chat.

Support: What you earn when you do jobs for a leader of a faction, or anyone in a faction.

2: Guard (Must wear guard's apparel) (25 support)
3: Scout (Must wear leather) (50 Support)
4: Knight (Must wear Steel, Blue cape) (100 Support)
5: Lord (Can wear whatever, Blue Cape) (150 Support)

Dwarves: Leader: Undetermined (PR)
1: Carter (10 support)
2: Laborer (Must use Iron Pickaxe) (25 support)

Besides that there are a few other sub-factions, but you will discover those as you go around.

Perulian is the son of a White Knight, possbily one of the strongest ones in history. His father was sent on a quest to slay a great demon, however he was never seen again. Ten years after his father's dissapearance, the Squire of the White Knights of Falador presented hm with an Amulet and a small sum of gold. Perulian Strives to prove himself to the white knights, with his Father's Diamond Amulet with him at all times.

Esow (Ay-s-ow) Aspiring Fisherman, Recruit of the Knights of Varrock

History: My name is Esow, son of Esop. I come from the land of Varrock. All through my childhood, my father, the King of the Knights of Varrock, would take me through the main street, where many would come to sell various items of power. It was fun as I hobbled along the streets, people smiling in my faces, hearing the hustle and bustle of trade. But mostly, I admired the Knights of Varrock. I loved their shiny addamantite and runite armour and red capes. My father would take me to his palace every day, and I enjoyed myself by finding secret passages and doing all sorts of things in the castle.

At the age of 20, I have just joined the Knights of Varrock, trained by my father. I am just a recruit, but I may make it up through the ranks soon. I have much strength, and can throw a 500 stone rock almost twice as far as most men can. Unfortunately for myself, a week after my becoming a recruit, my father was assasinated by an unknown person. Sources say it was a member of the Blackarm Gang. I do not know, but I sware to find the person who has killed my father, and avenge his death.

History: In the wet forests on what is now called the Gnome Stronghold, comes the King Sloth. Whose people got savagely killed by evil gnomes. King Sloth is the only survivor. His pet lobster, Paracrone, travels with him, but the gnomes found Paracrone and ate him. Forced to fend for himself, King Sloth tries to find more sloths. What lies ahead, nobody nows...

At a young age of 16, he ventures out into the unmapped (Unmapped sloth map ) parts of Runescape. He found the White Knights and soon wanted to join. Then a news came. Someone found a civilization of sloths, in an unknown place. Now he tries to find this place.


Name: Idari, Lumberjack

History: Idari is the son of Inaom, the lumberjack, and Eweon, an elven maiden. HIs mother was killed by a marauding band of thieves when Idari was just two years old. He was raised in the forests of draynor by his father, who taught him the skills of woodcutting and firemaking. For his 20th Birthday, his father gave him a scroll his elven grandfather had written on the skill of elven archery. Idari's favourite pasttime is exploring the land, which he has done since he was 7 years old, so he knows the vast land of runescape very well.


Name: Qar larne, Free lancer

History: Qar lane is a Elven man and in his early 20s, He used to live with his Elven parents until they were killed by a goblin ambush while they were sleeping, he luckly managed to escape with only a few cuts and wounds. Qar lane now lives by himself in a small house in falador by himself he has deticated his life to hunt down every last goblin, he will not rest until he finish this goal.

Certicas


Fabled hermit oh the wilderness edge. Son of an falsely imprisoned man who spent the first of his days locked deep in the dungeons of the Castle of Falador. In the ancient scrolls it was said that Certicas stole the ancient artifact of power from the fortress of the White Knights using his intellect and his superior age. Also, he tied up the all powerful sorceror Lecki with a mere single thread, convincing him throuhg mind magic that it was much more than a mere thread. Once Certicas had taken the artifact, all knowledge was lost of his whereabouts, as well as that of the fabled artifact.

Abilities: A high intellect, with the "Power of the mind" as is stated in the scrolls
A small person, yet very crafty and somewhat sneaky.
Profession of interest: Mining, and maging.

Desired position: Fisherman. I enjoy sitting on docks and fishing with the wind in my hair, at peace with the world. Also, it is fairly profitable, considering I also have a good skill with a range.

Yeah, Certicas.. I remember. But you gotta gimme all that info, like background and such.

Support points are gained by doing missions. How I got my points: I signed up with the Duke of Lumbridge, and got the first mission: Destroy the Orc camp near Lumbridge. After every orc was dead, I accomplished my mission. +10 points on DoL. THen I was sent to a new orc encampment. I was to destroy the orcs there. I accomplished thismission by becoming level 10 in all three of my combat skills. +10 on DoL, and because I killed an encampment that posed danger to Falador, the people thought I was a hero, so, to look good, the Lord of the White Knights boosted my suppor 15 points from -5.
