yea, um... advertising websites in RS is breaking the rules, and people can be reported for it, as most of us know. so i have to confirm that people don't mind if i give them the website name, and even then, I have to spell "com" at the end differently because of course, runescape's servers block words like that.
i'm fearing that i already have been reported for advertising SeeD's website, so we might want to figure out some different way to recruit and still get people to the website to officially register. another option is that we could have a list of people who are members of SeeD, but not registered on Cspacezone.
any other ideas?

You could tell them to search cspacezone on a search engine.
But also keeping the Recruitment Topics already made alive is another great way to recruit people.

yea, i could do that, once i get a membership i'll use the forums to recruit more often than the game itself.
oh, by the way, i think i got a couple of successful recruits today.
only one of them has actually registered, and they haven't completed it(mainly because he asked me to register him for him, and obviously i don't have to password to his email.)
the above person is lordsmonkey2 both ingame and forums.
another person(who was worried about keyloggers on cspacezone) is Scott 500
the next is jesusfreak94
and the last recruit of the day is blodasp1
all of the above have agreed to come to the upcoming event.

There are report-happy people who will report someone sending a URL if they see it, and I don't think we need to deal with that. There are other ways that won't get anyone a black mark.
Events are still good, and we can say who we are. Perhaps saying that we're a part of CurvedSpace would help, because then we'd obviously be referring to a website, but we won't be telling anyone to go there. If the person wants to find us, Googling "curvedspace" would be the first thing he/she does. Luckily we're the first thing that comes up when you search for it.
Just remember to say "CurvedSpace" along with SeeD, because if the person searches for "SeeD", they simply won't find us.

Other forms of recruitment are also great, and perhaps more effective given the limitations in Runescape. Using other communities (except RS Community) where recruitment threads are allowed is always a good idea. Just be sure to make it known that you posted such a thread... That way SeeDs can help to keep the thread alive.

Thats right. however, it is a little hard to find a runescape forum on google other than ones we are already recruiting in or the ones on RS.
and if they DO happen to search for SeeD, or SeeD runescape clan on google, they might find us on Demonknights top 100. and after checking google for SeeD runescape clan, i found our forum on the 3rd result, and one of our really old sites (back when we had only 31 members) on the 7th result. so there are indeed ways to find us on google.
people would have to look a little more on just searching for SeeD.
