The Mistery Of Black can somone do tests for me?

ok, first off i have to explain a few things, in f2p i have noticed a few odditys. one, aparently noone knows what charcoal is for, exept it says its usefull for marking things. the thing that got me thinking about it though was when i acidentaly used a steel bar with a furnace, instead of the usual, "nothing interesting happens" it said "you heat the steel" now, what pupose does that serve? none that I can see. now comes the testing part. as i am not a p2p person yet, can somone who has nothing better to do get some charcoal and have it in there inventory while they heat a steel bar? i know it sounds dumb but as far as i can tell, everything in runescape has some purpose to it. there may be more to it than I am seeing, but its always worth a shot, who knows, mabe we can all get ritch selling black 2h TheSmile.gif

Nope im sorrry but that wont work.....steel bars are for making cannon ammo(p2p) and charcoals for some quest i think....nice thinking though grnwink.gif

Charcoal has no known purpose. Except for maybe a quest. It is made by using a lump of coal with a fire. Heating the steel bar has to do with making cannon balls for your Dwarf Cannon (p2p item).

y the heck wouldu need cannon ammo and maybe we can find a way to make black maybe it is just lost in the history of runescape let us look.

lol sry to crush your dreams but dont waste your time conf.gif its always been unmakable since the start of it....it was put in so pures would use it and there mains would have to pay for it if they were going to drop trade it and if they lost it they would have to pay for it again thus making dropiong trading less realistic than before.It just isnt makable................and you need cannon ammo for a cannon...

Err... you need cannonballs (cannon ammo) so you can shoot the cannon... kinda obvious...

Black has never been smithable. Ever. Like Dragon, it is a unique material that cannot be made by mortals. Mith, Addy, and Rune are magical and rare, but can be made by mortals.

Charcoal can only be made by members. It has no use outside of quests. Same with blurite.
Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.

The one time i saw any, it was a black lump, it looked a little like a silver ore that was black. this was some time ago, and my memory could be failing on this, i only saw it for about 10 seconds.
