When using a PS2, but playing a PSX game, can you use a PS2 memory card to save a PSX game?? And can you use a PSX memory card (and other peripherals, for that matter) with a PS2.

Sry if that sounds confusing, and if you don't know, PSX is the original Playstation.

I think you can use the ps2 to save psx but cannot use psx to save ps2. But your psx should match psx and ps2 should match ps2. I don't think you can save ps2 on psx but you can save (as far as I know) a psx on a ps2.....

Nope, Cant save PSone games on a PS2 memory card and vice versa. Dunno out the periphals, I think you can use PSone on a PS2 but not the otherway... Will try with Time Crisis Gun tonight...

I'm pretty sure you can use the PSX periph's on a PS2, but not vise versa. Can you play a PSX game on a PS2 and use a PSX memory card to save, instead of a PS2 memory card??

ps2 memory card = ps2 games only

a ps1 memory card can b used on ps2 to save ps1 games but not ps2 games, it can cos i use it to play ff gmaes

Psx memory card psx only (can be used on PS2, but only for psx games)
ps2 memory card ps2 only. (can't be used on psx, period.)

they're made diffirently and the ships are diff.
