Aye, joysticks are for flight sims. Nothing like the ol' keyboard and mouse for an FPS.

I can't play console FPS games because I'm so used to a keyboard and mouse bluetongue.gif . The controller baffles me.

But DOOM (the first) goes great with a stick. Mouse and keyboard screws me up in DOOM.


Any other FPS and I'll go with a mouse though.

Well since Doom didn't really have looking up and down, I just use a keyboard by itself. Directional keys with one hand, the other is for shooting, strafing and sprinting.

I went to rent Doom3 Resurrection of Evil a few months back. A few kids were there (By kids, I mean aged 10 or so.) And had obviously played it.

They had the audacity to tell me I was wasting my time, especially if I were going to play Classic. I asked why, and they said "The graphics are horrible, and you can't even look up and down. It's stupid."

I told them "You're so unfortunate. This used to be the pinnacle of gaming. Lern 2 aprishiate classic werk plz."
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

U mm does the xbox360 Arcade one count seeing that it has every doom one in it and its online multi playable?

But having to beat it on coop doesn't count unless you do it on nightmare.
