ASCII (American Standard Code for Information Interchange), generally pronounced [ˈæski], is a character encoding based on the English alphabet. ASCII codes represent text in computers, communications equipment, and other devices that work with text.

ASCII art is pictures made up of letters and symbols, in a pattern. ASCII porn is hopefully something I just made up, but knowing the internet I'd still rather not google to find out.
