So I'm looking at the music poll and I see there isn't an option for country. So am I the only one who likes country music or is there someone else out there?

I had the same view until I had to listen to it during road trips for wrestling, now i love it just as much as rock. (But not as much as Metallica)

Let me clear this up.

"Country" music is pretty good. A lot of it is fun, in fact.
"Tear in my beer" music is crap. It is the basis for which all Emo music has originated from.
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

Actual country is quite good, especially if you're in the right mood for it. bluetongue.gif

"Country-Western" (Kentucky Fried Music) has its gems, but is mostly crap.
Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.

hey, "Theres a Tear in my Beer" is a good song, and i dont think emo started from country because emo is much to hardcore compared to country

I meant "Tear in my beer" type of song. Not the sing itself. bluetongue.gif
You know the songs like "Found my wife cheating on my friend" or "She found someone better".

And by emo, I meant the basis of the music. Rather negative in character.

All the modern country I've heard sucks. It always seems whiny.
