QUOTE
When you sign onto RS, do you ALWAYS join our clan chat and remain there while you play?
This is very important... If we all use the chat it will make spontaneous things easy, such as PKing, questing, trading, partying, or whatever else. That's what we did when our clan started, not big planned events. Spontaneous events are easier, more constant, and make the game more fun. The chat can also help us get to know new SeeDs. It can also be a sign of activity or lack thereof. It's easy to sign onto the chat, so why not do it?

It's also important that you stay in the chat, and not just "check in" to see if someone's there. If we all merely checked for immediate activity, it would be really difficult to actually make it active.
QUOTE
Do you add new recruits to your friend list, and do you contact them in-game?
This is important. It's almost as important as the clan chat. In my last poll, zero out of 11 SeeDs voted that they add SeeDs to their friend list who they don't already know. Before clan chat, while SeeD was new and growing, that's how we knew who was on. That's how we got to know recruits, and it was the reason many spontaneous events happened. It also allowed us to truly welcome new members... It's a bigger deal to be contacted in-game, than it is to get a reply to an intro thread. Even with clan chat, there's a lot to be accomplished through private messages. Please, please, please try to meet new members in-game if you want SeeD to become more active. Recruiting is pointless if we don't contact those who join.
QUOTE
Do you use our official servers?
This isn't as important, but if a lot of us use them, it would be worth the extra click to sort Worlds. It would be easier for spontaneous events to happen when we don't have to switch worlds, we'll seem more organized with green names (and the same world number for everyone in the chat), and we could run into each other. The world is small enough that even without heightened activity, it's easily feasible to find other SeeDs while doing your thing. There's also a unity aspect to doing this which shouldn't be undermined. If you didn't know, you can sort the world list by clicking one of the arrows at the top of the world column, which makes it very easy to find a specific server.
QUOTE
Do you tell those you know in RS or reality about SeeD?
Not much to say, but it would help with recruiting, and everyone always feels better in a clan among friends.
QUOTE
Are you willing to recruit on your own?
It would be a major help, and everyone here appreciates activity...

QUOTE
Are you willing to help others with recruiting?
This is always good as well.
QUOTE
Do you presently have a blue cape to use at events? It can be in your bank, you don't need to wear it all the time.
Not extraordinarily important, it's up to you if you want to wear one, but it may help with unity. We never really pushed it that hard, but it would also allow you to be identified more easily if we move around. In the wilderness it would be more important for this reason.
