I know others have thought of it, but in case some havent here, there is a simple way. Going into Hard Mode and completing quests with your handbook. You could try to complete the whole handbook and net 30,000 points at once, but this is long and quite time consuming, so let's think about the incomplete handbook. You can get 3k for completing 8 pages or 4.5k for completing 9 pages. This still seems like alot, but the thing is, with the big primary quests that overlap the entire game, you already get 5 of these complete. So, how can we easily get the next needed 3 or 4 quests?
I personally reccomend for two them to be Curse of the Nornbear and A Time for Heroes. Both can be finished, in hard mode, in no more than 4-5 minutes. Unfortunately, none of the others are this short, but I find that G.O.L.E.M is a close second with a good team. It can be done with heroes and henchies if you just keep an eye on the kiln's HP and make sure to go back and forth between the two. A minion master helps since they will stay at the fight, buying you time to go to the other side to help that kiln before having to go back to the first to heal it. So with that done, it's an easy 3,000 experience. That seems comparable to fighting through some zone to fight, and maybe a little bit less. Well, two things about that. After a certain point, you have to do this in Hard Mode, and it isn't easy to vanquish quickly in Hard Mode, as well as the fact that on average a HM vanquishing can take two hours, this takes about half an hour on the outside if you take your time with all three quests. If you want a forth for a nice 4.5k per book, Finding the Bloodstone is pretty simple and short. Just involves some travel time, making it a bit longer than the others. But the mobs are quite easy even in hard mode, and the quest is short. Just be on the look out for the bat like thingys that come out of the ceiling, they will destroy your casters, so make sure to have a tank of some sort scout ahead a bit.
