*A large group of cavalry is approaching from the west. They are hundreds in numbers, and all are riding under the banner of Forlon.*

One of the cavaliers in the back questions another rider...

"Why are all of us necessary for recovering that artifact? We're just chasing two sailors."

"Don't forget that Aderon is also likely to be after it. We need to be ready for anything, this has always been a highly contested region in the war."

Reikin appears out of nowhere, far away from the cavalry. (Can't remember my character's last location.)

Being a Knight of Aderon, he was about to run away to alert the Knights when he saw hundreds of Forlon soldiers. However, upon closer eavesdropping, he finds out the soldiers are after... two sailors? That could not be right. Why would they send hundreds of soldiers to simply chase two sailors? Whatever the sailors have must be of most grave importance...

Reikin casts:

- Illusion of the Espheir: EC: 0; Effect: Changes the form of the caster: Those who are Arielina's most devote followers are granted a spell to enshroud them in the illusion of the Espheir, a glowing creature similar to a featureless Eumidia embodied by light, which is often feared by those among the dead.

Transformed into an Espheir, he finds a bright place within the desert and hides there, attempting to gather more information.

The cavalier continues...

"It just doesn't make any sense. What could they possibly have that's so important? I know that some people have strange powers, and certain objects have arcane properties... No, I don't understand it, but how could something be powerful enough to justify this? Artifacts don't win wars, that's what armies are for."

"I think the Seer had something to do with this. I don't know why Forlon trusts him, but that's not for me to question."

Reikin smirked at the naive soldiers. "Artifacts don't win wars"! Clearly, they have not seen what he has seen...

The Seer... Something about the name ringed a bell, but Reikin could not quite put his finger on it... But now he remembered something else, something a long time ago, that he read in the Great Library. The intriguing book called 'The Age of Earthia', a book which claimed that what happened within the book has happened. Could they be after the two fellows named Gero and Ethan? Everything seemed to make sense... The rock which Ethan possessed would be an artifact and the Forlon soldiers within the desert where Gero said they would go...

He decided to move off (still as an Espheir) and alert the two sailors before they are caught, although considering Gero had possession of a neutronium bomb, Reikin was sure he still had plenty of tricks up his sleeve...
