The "Ho-Down" On WoW indeed, indeed...

Alright, so here's the "skinny." Also the "deal." And, quite possibly, the "mustard."
There are two types of players in WoW, as far as I've seen. There is the "hardcore" variety and the "social" variety. Hardcore only get bored when they don't have a raid group. Social players get bored when they don't have a buddy to quest with.
The problem here is that we are too few for raids, and too scattered in level for group questing.
Also we're all over the place as far as servers go.
Now I'm sure there are plenty of 70s to go around, (not me), but who among them wants to abandon their current guild to make one for us when we only have maybe 5 people? Then there's the issue of what server we should be on. No one wants to transfer, it's 25 bucks! But who wants to start a new character from level 1 when they've got a 70 (or, in my case, a 54, which I've been working on for three years) on another server?
So basically we need to pick a server with at least one 70 on it, and either transfer or make new characters there. I cannot currently afford a server transfer, but I have no problem making a new character as long as I have people to play with. I can't grind or solo for my life. It's boring.
I am, of course, taking for granted the fact that in order to start a guild, we need a 70, preferably 5.
One other option we have is for one of our 70's to "splinter" off from their current guild, and make one for us, and maintain a raiding partnership with their previous guild while we build members.
The best possible way to work from there is to work out a play schedule, if possible, where as many of us are on as possible to help everyone level up. That way no one is lonely, and we don't have to worry about getting a bad group in game.
Now, who among us can help with this? I'm going to try and get a hold of Final, and see what he can do. My 54 is on Bronzebeard, if anyone else is there. I know a few of us were on Eitrigg.
Anyway, if you are active, or interested in being active in WoW regardless of level, or know someone who is, and would join us, please post a reply in this thread so we can get this going. Please include your character name(s), servers, and levels, and classes.
Solarodand, 54 Hunter, Bronzebeard. Feel free to send me a tell anytime.
Also: If the guild gets made on Bronzebeard, I will be happy to fund the costs.

I wish you well with getting a WoW faction active, but is CIK really the best place to be posting this? Seems like you want as many relevant people seeing it as possible, whereas you're limited to just those in CIK if you post it here. I won't move it without asking, but let me know if you'd like me to.

As I've said a few times, I have my own guild Hordeside on The Venture Co. known as the Wraiths of Dawn. That character (Zarath) is level 45 at the moment, and climbing. The server is an RP/PVP server, and the guild is heavy RP, so that would be expected, but the goal is eventual endgame raiding.
Allianceside, also on The Venture Co. I have Zolon, Level 70 Human Mage. He's in a guild known as the Midnight Reveries. If there were a large group of this I might consider forming an Allyside guild, but again, because of the server and the way I play, it would be heavy RP/PvP.

Goto: Moving sounds good. Go for it!
XZ: Sounds interesting. I'm fine with making a new character (I've always wanted to try some real RP), but that'd either put me at level 1, or in the hole 25 bucks. We'll see.
I chatted with Final F8 about 10 seconds ago, and I might be able to convince him to start an alt there, but he exists in the future by what? 12 hours? Oof!
So we're at 3 people now. We'll see how things go.

If you're creating alts, do it Hordeside, HS on our server is more progressed and I actually lead the guild over there.
Create an alt, send a mail message to Zarath. That's me
Note though, some of the members do not know that I also play Allyside, and the RP of my Horde guild is that we are trying to destroy the Ally guild I'm in... so..
If Hordeside... call me Zarath, or Z. If allyside, call me Zolon or Z or XZ.
I'm Zolon allyside.

And here's Zarath.

HEY ZOLON
ON Zarath. That weapon 'Sword of Omen'.
...
Does it give you Sight Beyond Sight?

Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

Oh my...
I'll create an alt hordeside and send you a letter. But I have about... Zero experience with horde zones, so it might be a couple hours before I'm done with the starting area of whatever race I pick.
See you online!

I work for another lots of hours, so I'm usually not online until around.. well.. I'm done at 8:30PM central, I think that's 6:30PM server. After that... bus ride home, usually home around 7:50PM server (I think) 9:50PM central, so yeah.
Also, We have a few members who are of a lower level, so you'll be able to group up with them. WoD is a newer guild.
If you see one of the following people online, you can tell them you are a friend of Zolon's (Yes, you can say Zolon to these people and these people only as it will let them know you really know me) and they should let you into the guild. They are Vlanna (Alts are Tigerlily and Selenne) or Amuzihs. Either of those two will let you in.

(un)stable, when you get in-game on Horde or Alli-side, I have characters on both, though my Horde-side priestess is only about 12. Ally-side I have a 70 paladin, and both are in the same guild as XZolon's, <Wraiths of Dawn> (as Cecilya) and <Midnight Reveries> (as Eithyne). I'm usually online on the weekends, and pretty commonly during the week, so if you feel the want to roll some quests on Horde-side, let me know and I'll jump over. *goes over to edit her profile* AIM, MSN, email, whatever.
Disclaimer: I do, however, raid, so from about 6 server time to...usually 11 or 12...I'm in Kara, Z'A, or Gruul's. :S WTB [More Raid Tanks] PST ><
