Noone knows. Jagex has postponed the date many times, so I'm guessing it will be a while before it is implemented.

These post's are annoying me. "when's the 3d update? when's the 3d update?" THE FRIGGING 3D UPDATE HAS NO RELEASE DATE YET, NO-ONE CAN PREDICT WHEN IT WILL COME OUT EITHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I say october... next year 
JaGeX had stopped even trying to say when they think it will be released as everyone hounds them about it when they find out it has to be delayed again. It is a mammoth amount of work and they will be finished when they're finished. At least there is still the occasional quest or update released.
