Hey ya. Long time no see, right? Me? Oh, things have been dandy. I've mostly been active in my paintball community and D&D community. Not many of us furries in South Dakota. In fact...I think I'm the only one that isn't a bear. (Bear country, haha?) So here's a little update on how things are going.

School's going well. I'm in my Junior Year. 17. Um...just kind of sticking with it. I've still got quite a few classes to take before I can graduate with distinguished class. A's and B's as usual...though I'm afraid a C might be in the making for Chemistry this quarter. x.x After High School I intend to go to either USD (University of South Dakota) or SDSU (South Dakota State University) and make my major in Network Security. Basically becoming a "good" hacker, administrator, or all around computer guru. I was certified by C-tech and Leviton last year for cable making (both copper and fiber optics) and this year I'll be taking a test to get certified in A+.

I'm not that much of a gamer any more...well...not too much into MMORPG's. I own WoW, and I play it a bit. But I'm mostly into the other stuff. I got a brand new computer put together a couple of months ago. We named it the Warforge. If you play D&D, you'd understand it. A Warforge is a living construct. Basically a robot that can think for itself. The case really looks like one. The games I'm really interested in are Assassin's Creed, Fall Out 3, Bioshock (Scary!), Resi Evil 4, and my most treasured strategy game ever--Dawn of War.

As for paintball, I'm really making a move. Before me, very few furries were noticed in paintball. "Tyger" being the most well known. He does a lot of helpful videos on strategies, concepts, and helping new players pick up the sport. He's a freelance writer out of Wisconsin. Before him, very few furries decided to reveal their "furry pride" to the rest of the paintball community. Well...Tyger definitely started a coup. He wears a pair of ears and a tail when he plays at scenario games. I've kindly asked him to make me a set (which I will reimburse him) so that I may join him. Since I've made my presence known, furries began to pop out of the woodwork all of a sudden. There are a lot more of us in any general community than you may think. After I get some pictures, I'll post some more stuff about paintball. I've got all kinds of fun little stories to share and what not.

Furry life--Er...yeah. I'm still a furry. =P Deal with it. Still a fox. Still orange and white (and some brown on my stockings and sleeves) and still hot to the touch. grnwink.gif

Sex life--Yep. Still gay. Though, technically bi. But it takes a LOT to make me attracted to females. There are certain details about the female species that must be precise for me to even think of them as being sexually attractive. To dive a little deeper, I'm what the gay community calls a femboi. Or a femboy. Or any variation on the word. WE ARE NOT DRAG QUEENS. If you want me to, I'll explain it some time.

As for my love life, it hasn't been so sweet. I have had a bit of a "mate" for a while, but he's getting really serious. And I mean...REALLY serious. He's planning all of these dates, and we haven't even met face to face yet. I had to stop him and tell him that when we meet in real life, we're no longer mates. We have to start allll over again. That's how I want it. I want to date people, I don't want to get set up on one of those silly online marriages that no one wants. Besides that, I sense that we won't hit it off so well. We're worlds apart, though emotionally we're very similar. But emotions aren't everything. In fact, I'd take emotions last in my appeal book. So things haven't been so swell for me.

Latest Drama--Well...other than bashing churches, scaring priests, and making my friends wonder how I can be so good at dare games that relate to homosexuality...I've had a lot happen to me lately. During about the same time that Fersk got into that nasty wreck, my cat Monty died. He was the closest thing I've ever had to a brother, and I have had him since I was born. Not to mention that this was my last mobile animal...I was not happy. I fell into a deep depression, I lost sleep, I lost weight, and my mentality broke. For the first time in my life, my resolve gave weigh. And if the furry community wasn't there for me, in another life, I probably would have offed myself. There really isn't much light in the world in South Dakota, and I took it hard. But as you can see, I'm alive and kicking and I'm making a full recovery. I'm back up my normal weight (135 in the morning; 140 during the day) and I'm sleeping regularly.

Latest trends and hobbies--Lately I've been trying to download Hot Fuzz off of Limewire, but it's not working. Yarr...kinda pissed. o.< Other than that, I've been roleplaying. A lot. Forum, MSN, client. I'm also on Second Life. So if anyone is on there, give me a ring on Ruckus Meredith. It's a damn fun game/client...when it's not having bug issues.

So...maybe some of you oldies might be wondering what's become of me over the last...oh gawd...like...year or two? Well some of you know that I happen to have a passion for writing. I used to write those silly little "journal entries" based on Runescape. Sheesh, that really was a long time ago. In case the diehards didn't notice, I quit those long ago. I've moved onto bigger and better things. As of about half a year ago, I'm a free-view author for Yiffstar. What is Yiffstar, you ask? It's a collaboration of furry artwork and literature. I highly recommend not looking into it if you are deeply opposed to furries or are homophoebic or heterophoebic in anyway. I'm not going to lie, it's a website with sex in mind, hence, the yiff. At any rate, I've completed several stories, both with gay and heterosexual couples. So there's a little bit of everything...but if you want the direct links from me, you have to contact me off of the main boards, as I'm not supposed to direct people to NC17+ content.

My music taste has changed a lot too. I've moved on from Techno (bleh!) to Hard Rock, Soft Metal, Jazz, and blues. If it has a guitar or a violin in it, I want to hear it. Some of my favorite bands are--Tenacious D, Metallica, Guns'n'Roses, Velvet Revolver, and the Atomic Fireballs.

So yeah. What's been going on with you guys?

Hai! ^-^

Your cat's death is depressing. But if it just recently died and you've had it since you were born, it had an amazingly long life. I had a cat who died a few years back who was fifteen, and that's pretty darned old too bluetongue.gif So I guess they can't be expected to live forever XD But I suggest getting another one bluetongue.gif All three of the cats who we had when I was born have died, and now we have two newer ones (one we've had for two years already, so eh XD), and I'd be way more depressed without -them-, so... Get a new kitty, and you'll be happier! ^^

^ Me with my PGP paintball pistol. Drawn by Wildwulf of yiffstar in MS-Paint, then touched up in Photoshop.

^ Actual PGP. Stock class pump pistol. Vintage from 1980's.

^ Returning gift for my trip to Germany. It's me, (with purple hair ><) dressed in Lederhosen drinking a beer. ^^ Those things are huge...whole liters of beer. Mm... There's a secret to this picture. Go ahead and take guesses. It's supposed to say "Gute Reise" which would mean Happy Excursion. But...the gift giver trusted a german translator machine rather than asking me how to spell it...so...it got screwed up.

^ Paintball picture. On the left is "Big." He's displaying the bright pink splatter on his mask and his hair that says I shot him (with my PGP no less.) On the right, "Xavier" taunts and teases because he was on my team.

^ "Xavier" and "Pyro" scaring random passers-by at a gas station while we fill up on CO2 and food.

^ "Pyro" got a little gun happy and got too close to "Big." Note the splatter on his goggles. (It's yellow)

^ From top to bottom. "Jerber," "Xavier, My head (ack), "Pyro," and finally "Big."

^ A new look on things.

More pictures to come.

He was in excellent condition for his age. But he had to be put down due to Lymphoma. I don't think we'll be getting a new cat before I go to college...but at least we still have the Russian Box turtle....CAP'N JACK!

Even though I don't play paintball... your pistol... do want. Do want very much.

Also, I don't recommend getting curious and googleing that site Ruckus mentioned he's not kidding. Especially if your thinking ZOMG FREE (NC-17 content)... cmon have I ever steered you guys wrong?
Unless of course you're already desensitized to pretty much everything like I am.

PS: Give me the gun.

Edit: I decided to get on my computer to type the rest of this out.

Sorry about your cat. Mine is about 13 or so and doesn't look like she's going to survive through the winter.
And congrats on the A+ cert. I'm thinking of taking mine early next year sometime. I also have a disc with some A+ tests on it incase you're wondering how well you're going to do at it. Btw are you thinking of getting your Network and security+ too?

Hmmm... what's going on with me.

I've been wanting to get into network security/basic scripting and programming but I haven't had the time to bother with it. I've got a job now and I work about 25-30 hours a week at terrible times. I'm still wanting to build myself a computer... and I still have next to nothing saved up bluetongue.gif .

There's alot more, but I don't feel like typing too much with my hurt hand. Which brings me to my next point.. I hurt my already messed up to begin with hand by falling on it. I still can't move it back at all. I have like... a 70 degree range of motion right now.

Certainly doing well for yourself there, Ruckus. Sorry for the loss of the cat, I've gone through six of those but I never let it sink in as far as you. No idea if that's good or bad.

How we've been.. Hm.. Well I'm sure others can speak for themselves (like I'd want to), but I've been alright I guess. Practically stopped all my MMO playing. Half because I can't afford it, and half because I'm not really feeling much of a MMO mood over me at the moment. Lord of the Rings Online is the one that I would be playing though if I was in the mood.

This past week, I bought the Orange Box (Y'know, Half Life 2, Portal, Team Fortress 2), and well.. Yeah, Team Fortress 2 has taken over my game time almost completely.

In general;

Music, I'm still listening to mostly RPG music, and orchestral music is also high on the list of likings.

RPing, there really isn't anywhere that I go for that at the moment. I've written a few parts on another forum relating to their system but I haven't been around there recently. Should probably go and catch up with the people there sometime.

Real Life, still 21, still in the same house I lived in all my life, still same boring job that pays rubbish. However, I've also been trying to figure out the whole American Visa stuff for a later date, since there's a few things stateside (Oh how much it pains me to say there's stuff worth going to America for) that basicly require me to get over there.

Well, that's it for me I guess. You'll know where to find me, otherwise icon_sweatdrop.gif.

Oh, and Maxi(who I thought lived in Montana or something) isn't the only Gmod anymore, Res (mike) is an Smod, Aaron (Who I thought was a mod to begin with), Nazy (same as Aaron), Xmadole (noob), and Zziggywolf5(insert witty comment here) are now mods. But you probably already caught that one.

Oh MAXI! That reason you're coming over here PAINS you?! Oh dear. I'd hate to let that one get out.

RUCKUS. *glomp* Good to see you, yis?
Glad to hear you're doing generally well. Sorry about the kittykitty. sad.gif Is a definite sad thing.
As for Airsoft, the boys and I are about to start up an Airsoft team so we can compete around here. Looking forward to that, I am.

Good to hear you're doing well.
Keep smilin', aye?
Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

Thanks, Jake. And yes...I warned ya. ;P But if you -really- want to read my stories (C'mon, I've been told that I write good enough to be a professional) then I can give you a direct link to it to pass all of the fanart and what not.

We furries have a saying about our art--
"Don't get too attached to your childhood memories. Because before you know it, you'll see your favorite cartoon character. . .naked."

Trust me, it is really "to each their own" at yiffstar. You either block the stuff or put up with it. We all cringe now and then.

Sorry about your cat as well. We put him down when we did so we wouldn't have to worry about holidays or something ill timed.

I warn you about entering a programming field...it is TOUGH. I took a programming class last year here in my high school. It was pretty nuts. Even programming the most basic of games (Yatzee) was an eyesore. And I actually never finished the bloody thing after a month. Every day I left that class, pissed and infuriated. I got so upset once that I hauled off and punched the monitor. I thought I would have bust the CRT, but it held up like a rock. Thing was--no one blamed me for doing what I did. They all put up with the same crap. Our teacher didn't even know how to program the things we did. He'd think of a game, then tell us to get to work. He'd sit there, we'd sit there. And we'd all try to figure out the proper code to launch things. It's not an easy field, but I bet that it pays pretty damn well.

Glad to hear things are going with you guys. I'd be hooked too, Maxi. That Team Fortress 2 game looks FUN! @_@ But I'm off of FPS games. The only one I plan on getting this year is Fall Out 3. And technically, it's an RPG based FPS.

I'm glad you think my PGP is sexy, Jake. It's even more sexy when you know that you just shot someone in the face with a gun that only holds a maximum of 10 shots while theirs holds a maximum of 200. grnwink.gif First shot I ever shot with it (in a game) was at Big in the 4th picture.

Here's some more pictures.

^ This was a project gun that I was working on. Since then I have painted it black, and now I'm selling it to a local. It's name was "Sijon." Named after a very loving furry Master I have.

Now meet new, improved, and SEXY.

^ This is Sijon 2: The Vixen Defender. A whole different gun, about ten bucket loads more sexy. <3

--Ruckus

Quick edit: Hey Mike. I never got into airsoft...but...Master Sijon plays it and he seems to like it. He named his new rifle after me, so I returned the favor. His variation on my name is a little different though. ;P Have fun with that.

GAH! *pounces out of spite*

Stop twisting my words, it's the fact I had to admit there's worthwhile.. things.. 'in' America in the first place.

PS: Yesh Ruckus, TF2 is fun. I have an affinity towards using the unique character voice emotes a lot. Especially with the Heavy Weapons Guy *giggles manicly*. Nothing like running into a big 30 person fight and hearing "HEEEERE I COME!!" - "RUN COWARDS!" - "WAAHAHAHAHA" In a loud thick Russian accent. That guy seems to shout eeeverything.

I've been a super-secret undercover mod the whole time ShiftyEyes_anim.gif . No, not really bluetongue.gif .

Glad to hear from you, Ruckus. Paintball is a really fun game. I played several rounds a few months ago with our youth group.

You didn't trap me on yiffstar. I'm 99.9% sure I already know whats there.
What has been seen cannot be unseen. And rule 34 already raped my childhood a long time ago. Sorry to deny you that pleasure bluetongue.gif

I've already done basic java before and hated it (I did code a text based blackjack though), but then I learned that not all programming is that bad, and that Java=Satan.
Even now that I know that not all programming is that bad. I still wouldnt become a serious programmer. Its just that basic scripting/programming is an important skill to have when jacking around with servers from what I understand.

Edit:

Ok, so Nazy isnt a brit... and Maxi is. *writes this down*

Wow...it really -does- look and sound like Incredibles on crack...looks like so much fun.

Yeah. Paintball is pretty much my only exercise. =P I mean...I do situps at night. But...heck. With Paintball, I run about ten miles every time we go out.

Edit for Jake: Hehe. Aww. It's okay, my childhood has been mindthrusted many a time.
