All right, so here's the deal. I need to cut back on computer time. It's very silly, because now it's actually getting annoying, not where it merely wasted time. I come home and look at Epi and think "Epi! I must keep you company!" and then it seems like the moment I get online, time goes by faster than it normally would. So I must stop that! D<
... So, erm, as pathetic as it sounds, *hides* any tips for successfully letting go of the internet, at least a little bit?

I remember this happened to me a while back. I got Darkness to suspend me to get me off, but that didn't go over too well.
Find some other area to direct the attention.

Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

A job or a hobby fits nicely. I'll never leave the internet, since...well...that's where I get all of my work done. And without it, I'd be away from those that I cherish the most.

I won the internet, now I can't get rid of it :/
As for cutting back, yes, a job can help. Also, console gaming can request much attention. Or, you can devote your life to doing something crazy like I did that one year, and when you are done, you can come back and tell us about it.
*Shivers* Shirtless in the snow... how did I live through that?! >_<
Oh, but the insanity never goes away. You're stuck with that.

I find buying a good game keeps me from the internet, although never for long

Uhh... too lazy to use quotes, so let's see if I remember what all I need to reply too... xD
Can't get a job until next summer.
Gaming? That's the same as internet, when it comes to wasting time.
Uhm... oh, can't get suspended / banned, I rather like the freedom of -being able- to use it. :C
*Scrolls up*
Not into sports.
Hobby... can't think of anything that'd be strong enough to occupy me for long amounts of time, for the whole year.
As for devoting my life to something crazy... ._o I suppose that would do it. If I could think of -what- to do.
And heh, just the day I decide I won't use Epi before homework, I get... no homework... xD Must be a siiign! :O

Seems like you might want to consider what your definition of "wasting time" is first
Having fun like, as you said, on a game/here, perhaps.. isn't wasting your time (in my opinion) if that's what you like to do
But yeah, it is good to get fresh air with this guy around ->
I like cooking for my brothers and dad, but I haven't done that recently since college started. It was fun to learn, and it was fun spending time with my mom who taught me. It got me occupied, so maybe you could figure out something you would like to learn yourself and go for it

I suppose I'd want to stay away from another thing that could go from hobby to consuming my time, like the internet does.
Which gaming would do, I know. If I ever got into any game.
And I must get more willpower for the telling myself to stop thing. I do that everytime, but then I think "Well. I'm just sitting here now. And my body isn't moving. ... Move, body. I command you. *Stillness*"
But update on today's progress! ;D
So far today, in the time I could have spent poking Ratty, watching PotO Ghost Love Score, and various other stuff, I have:

So far today, in the time I could have spent poking Ratty, watching PotO Ghost Love Score, and various other stuff, I have:
- Watched Dr. Phil.
- Washed dishes.
- Remembered my unfinished scarf; pondered the whereabouts of my unfinished scarf.
- Read part of the Baha'i newspaper.
- Opened the closet and found an unfinished scarf; continued knitting an unfinished scarf.
- Fumed at a sexist person.
- Wondered later if I'd have managed to not stab the person with knitting needles.
