So I have come to realize that zombies have weak muscles. that's why they move so slowly right?

but if they have weak muscles, how do they dig themselves out of the holes we bury them in?? eek7.gif
and how come zombies are meat eaters? couldn't they just as easily eat vegetables??

and if a zombie is an undead human, why don't they eat themselves? and what would happen if they did...

if they their own stomach, would it go straight to the intestines?

AND OH MY GOSH!!! how hard is it to fricken kill a zombie with an airsoft gun??????!?!?!?!? conf.gif conf.gif conf.gif
Has anyone ever tried??? I had a dream about it once.. there's no way you could. Unless the airsoft gun was like CO2 powered or something....

Maybe they're actually magical... and... uhh... have wands for blasting through the ground! Maybe.

Wizard's have hats and... lives... and stuff, though. ShiftyEyes_anim.gif And robes. And healthy, functioning bodies. Sometimes.

Wrong. Zombies actually have very strong muscles. It's their skin that causes the speed decrease. Skin after decomposition becomes rough, dry, and leathery, and hardly pliable. Most zombies that have been dead for long periods of time will have less maneuverability than one that has just recently passed away.

However, some zombies (Depending on means of resurrection) are able to look past this and move frighteningly fast. These are the scary ones. These are the ones you need to worry about.

Actually no. Depending on the time the casket has been underground, the dirt above it may or may not become compacted enough to be easy to dig through. At the same time, the caskets themselves are probably the biggest challenge, but this only brings to light the amount of time a zombie has been resurrected before it actually reaches the surface. Think. There could be billions alive RIGHT NOW, and still having trouble digging through their casket.

Zombies require living flesh to fuel them. The cells must be alive and (preferably) healthy for zombies to pursue you. Though sick people are less sought after, they're still alive, which doesn't matter to a zombie. Living cells of skin and flesh (According to some raising rituals) are considered a 'sacrifice' needed to keep the zombie living.

Other methods just raise the zombie, and the best explanation to why they eat flesh is that is what their bodies accept as nutrition.

One form of zombie, however, only craves brains. These guys are the secondmost violent (Aside from full flesh eaters). They'll rip your head open and chew on your synapses while you're still alive, or until you die. The reason behind this: They claim brains to zombies stop the pain of being dead for a short time.

Impossible. It is impossible to kill a zombie with an airsoft gun. Co2 powered or not. There are many widely accepted ways to kill zombies. These run from simply destroying the head to obliterating the body, to simply burning the whole thing.

Theories behind each are: Destroy the head, destroy the brain, it cannot function anymore. In most cases this is true, but if another force animated it, this will not work, which brings us to 2.

2: Some forms of zombies wil not stop, even after their head has been severed. One type of zombie (I forget which one) can be cut in half down the middle, and its intestines will fling out and attempt to strangle you. The only method for this is to take a lawnmower after them and cut them into zombie paste.

3 is controversial to me. Some zombies will stay animate after most rounds of torture. (Tarman, anyone?) If it were me against them, I'd opt for number 2. But Co2 powered airsoft rifles or guns would not be anywhere near enough to kill a zombie.

Another reason behind this, a zombies skin is tough as leather, and an airsoft gun just doesn't pack enough punch to break the skin of a human (Hardly), so how would it damage a creature that feels virtually no other pain than being dead?

Whatever method that brings them back gives them enough strength. Zombies are supernatural, yes? So they have supernatural abilities which are above the norm. No matter what reason is used to resurrect them, they have some master power that drives them and gives them their strength.

My eyes have been opened and I now know much more about these "zombies"

one question though, how do YOU know so much about this? eek7.gif eek7.gif

also, is electrocution considered the same as burning the zombie or does it kill it in a different way?

Dude you have no idea. I have leads to understand that a Zombie infestation isn't imminent, it's happened once. Remember Katrina? Yeah. I've heard things. But that's another story for another time. Just think "Rage virus". There's so much stuff I know that I wish I didn't now, and it's just another reason I sleep with a gun under my mattress. I know because I'm prepared. Knowledge is power. And when the world and society as a whole are crumbling at the mercy of this newfound form of terrorism, I, along with everyone else who has ever cared enough to learn about this (Including you now) will be ready.

They're coming. Be prepared.

As for electrocution, I'm not quite sure. I'll have to check with my sources. See, I know a zombies heart doesn't beat, so an electrical current across the heart won't do jack. I'm also pretty sure a zombies brain won't be affected by electricity too much, since signals and synapses aren't being stimulated to produce their actions, but they're driven by an external force. I think the only thing electricity will do is cause their muscles to spasm enough to slow them down, and then bake them if anything.

Fire doesn't harm zombies anyway. If anything, it makes them deadlier. I'd rather have a zombie shuffling towards me then a flaming zombie shuffling towards me.

Flames make it undeniably cooler though.

I cannot deny that, Jake.

Aye. The only flame that would really do anything to a zombie is one that would incinerate it instantly. Unless it's turned into a pile of ashes IMMEDIATELY, you're going to have a slow, hot, painful death.

Acid, like fire, can take quite a while to work.
