we spent 20mins trying to steal a parking, then everywhere was jam-packed full of people

and it was insane, there were news cameras everywhere commenting on the flood of people racing for the sales

we left that place pretty soon lol

it was crazy but we stayed in this massive 4 star+ hotel while in Auckland...

we got waited on when we went there, and they had valet parking o.o

I was like to the guys who opened our door "oh my gosh you guys don't actually have to do that, it's okay!" and then mum, quite loudly in front of them was like "it's okay, they enjoy doing that"

afterwards when we were going in, I turned around and apologized and the guy said it was okay and that I was probably the first person to ever care about them

then mum told me off for hanging around the car because I didn't realize the guy was going to park for us

and then we went to a freaking even more rich place for dinner

where we got waited on and the drinks costed a tonne and so did the food

... but then the food was worth it lol XD

it was like a minimum of $30 a dish

and the portions weren't the biggest... but MAN was it good

and I felt bad because the waitress was topping up our water all the time and I was like "it's okay you can leave the bottle there" and then mum shot daggers at me with her look

like I have this whole air about me when we're in some place fancy... mum says I look like I walk on air XD

and I felt bad this morning

because we came out of the hotel later and everyone was nice and friendly and the guy at reception was real nice to me and said I was a nice person for caring about them XD

mum and our family friends (they're like an upper-class family of NZ, like they used to be a house with a lot of prestige and still are to an extent) went shopping in some flash as shopping centre

mum went shopping on High Street as well, which is like where all the branded shops are

holy crap, $200 for like some "cheap bag" and then there was one she liked the look of, then immediately put it down and walked out because it was $2300

and then my friend Jake (who hates the fact his mum and nana are sort-of posh) was looking at watches, because his nana wanted to buy one for his bday

so they went into this jewellery shop since there was a nice-looking one in the glass cabinet

we had to buzz inside for them to electronically open the door "as a safety precaution due to all the expensive goods inside"

so they got out the watches, since the tag said "$420" and another one was "$830"

and he was about to try them on

when the lady started describing them

Jake just blinked twice, then looked at the tag closer
