Does it help give structure to the genome to keep it stable?

Interesting thought, but no, the chemistry of the base pairs and the sugar skeleton, and the helper proteins (if I'm recalling correctly, there are proteins that help the DNA "figure out" how to coil and then super coil into the familiar chromosome structure; but that's only during cell division, the rest of the time it's lazy and just lays all over the nucleus) take care of that.

Well, I have no idea, but the thread seems to be dying off again, so maybe Zoo could give us a hint for those who lack in knowledge about how we work?

Heh, sorry, my mind really sucks right now. I was thinking (the day of the last reply) "I'll give them 'til tomorrow", and then it was gone.
Hint... hmm... not quite sure how to hint without giving it away. I'll go with "interaction". You might have to poke me, but I'll give the answer (or another clue if you're feeling masochistic) if that doesn't help.
And I'll also say for this question if you can look it up and understand it enough to give me a (at least semi-) correct answer, go for it.

Yep, because it's easy to catch a cold.
Haha, your turn.

That's their nature.
I may have a reasonable guess tomorrow, after a bit of sleep.
