Interesting. Didn't get a chance to check the new one until this morning, so hold off on that hint. Time to actually use my brain.

I would say move two match sticks, the top and bottom of one of the zeroes, and then form a letter v with them. so you have 700001v let's say. Since v is not specified, it can be as large as you want, so it can be arbitrarily larger than 1,000,000,000.
Not in the rules against that. But probably not what you're looking for.

Oh, and if there is an issue with it having to be digital in shape too (not specified, though ) you can make an arbitrary shape that acts as your variable.

Aww, come on, if it wasn't stated, you KNOW you want to give me a point for it.

Not necessarily. I mean, i'm looking for ONE answer which will -always- be larger than 1,000,000,000. Your answer isn't.
I don't see what value you've given 'v' with the matchsticks, so it's null and void as far as I can see.
So nyah. xD
But really, if I were in a good mood, i'd probably have given you the point. xD

Empty sig is empty.

I know the answer!
...
Hint time, I think.
HINT: For the end result, you have to look at the matches upside-down!
That's a pretty huge hint, especially if you know anything about big numbers. Should come to you straight away.

That's not what the slots are for!

Sounds like it might be a word or something XD
Hey, after all... if you type 0.1134 into your calculator and look at it upside down, it's hello! You can write lots on calculators upside down
But I don't want to think right now. If someone hasn't gotten it by tomorrow, I'll think about it some more XD
