The titan explodes in a glowy ball of explosionness!!! For some odd reason, the shockwave heals you again. Not a very intelligently designed creature, eh? Oh well. That energy sword hilt is still lying around somewhere. You'd do well to find it.

Oric searches around on the ground for the hilt.

You don't quite find it yet. I'd keep searching.

Oric continues his search.

You found it! It looks slightly damaged. It won't work... it could use some repairs. While searching you stumble back onto the prisoner's trail through the meadow.

[Darkness]

Oric follows it.

You come accross the prison engaged in combat with three of those Iridescent Titans!!! He's using some strange looking rifle against them, and it seems he is slaughtering them with ease. More titans are surrounding him, comming from the mountains in the north. Despite the numbers, the prisoner keeps mowing them down with the gun. There seems to be no end to the titans swarming the prisoner. You aren't noticed by either the titan hordes or the prisoner. Those titans must be comming from somewhere...

Oric goes and looks for where the titans are coming from.

They all seem to be flooding out of a system of caves. They seem mindlessly drawn to the prisoner, and they ignore you entirely. Maybe whatever that rifle is made of is what is calling them? Like a moth to the flame, they dive into the blasts of the prisoner's gun.

Oric goes into the caves.

A few meters in where the sunlight begins to fade, the cave walls appear to be made of the same glowing rocks the titans were made out of. This provides you with an excellent source of light, but it shines only in the narrow blue spectrum. This throws off your depth perception a bit. Deeper into the caves, you run into less and less titans. You start to see evidences of design in the formation of the rocks. Some glyphs appear on the walls, but are badly eroded. Eventually, you stop seeing titans altogether. You cross under an archway that leads into a hexagon shaped room. You came from the south wall, and there are 5 other walls, each with an arch that leads into a new room.

You make your way under the arch and into a long corridor. The markings on these walls are significantly damaged. Large chuncks of the walls seem to be missing, but there's no debris on the floor. After a long period of walking you come across a large open room with a high vaulted ceiling. The ceiling itself is enchanted and shows a view of space. Your knowledge of the stars from Earthia make it clear that this is not from the perspective of your home planet.

In the middle of the room there is a giant pedestal with a glowing blue orb resting on top. Across from you and beyond the pedestal is in indendation in the wall where the orb would fit. There is the top half of a skeleton on one side of the room, and the bottom half on the other side. That doesn't look promising.
