So, we haven't had this topic in awhile. And with GWEN coming out and alot more monster skills being added, seemed like a good time to bring it back.

If you could have one monster skill, what would it be?

And to make this more interesting, another age old question, if you could have any one Guildwars Skill, monster of not, in real life (barring ressurection bluetongue.gif cheap answer) what would it be?

Giant Stomp. It's really powerful and annoying.

I like tengu's gaze (think it's called tengu mimicry, actually) 'cause it's just so incredibly funny and gives you absolutely no clue as to what's going on: "A tengu is watching you intently" Giant Stomp is more useful though. Just make sure I and all my heroes have it, then cast it in succession like the monsters seem to be fond of bluetongue.gif. Not too familiar with the other ones.

IRL I'd like charm animal bluetongue.gif (surprise?). I don't really have much RL use for a lot of the skills, but what would be more awesome than being able to go everywhere with a big cat that will only attack what you tell it to?

I'd call to the torment and make an army of myself.

I'd take one of Shiro's skills, Meditation of the Reaper: "For 30 Seconds, Shiro meditates and absorbs the next 500 damage. When this skill ends, Shiro steals 20 health from all foes for each second this skill was active."

I could absorb your damage AND steal your health! eek4.gif

I'd be just as happy with Impossible Odds, if we're talking Shiro's skills. That would wipe out entire mobs very quickly on a dervish build, either Balth or Lyssa with Heart of Fury, Aura of Holy Might and Wild Blow. bluetongue.gif
Or maybe use it with Vow of Strength and an IAS along the lines of Heket's Rampage. ShiftyEyes_anim.gif

Duncan's Defense would be pretty awesome too, though. Provided you were getting spike healing rather than damage mitigation.

As far as having skills in RL, it'd be hard to go past something like Word of Healing. Quick and effective healing to yourself or others. A shadow stepping skill could be a lot of fun too, though. bluetongue.gif
Or of course one of the Avatar forms. coolgleamA.gif

I'd love to be an Avatar! I'd probably choose Balthazar because I can run fast and look scary bluetongue.gif .

I still wouldn't mind to have Killroy Stonekin. bluetongue.gif Need to look at the new monster skills to see if any beat it. Sure, there are some good monster skills out there, but how much fun would it be to scream "KILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLRRRRRRRRRROY STONEKINNNNNNNNNNNN" with your entire primal being and then do everything twice as well as before. bluetongue.gif

Oh, go to a wedding and use vocal minority when the priest asks if anyone has an objection. bluetongue.gif

The thought of that scares me Alpha. bluetongue.gif

I'd pick Base Defense.

Duckie!!! <glomp and ruffles>

I admit that it is indeed a bit cheap. But who can pass up on that kind of damage?! The thought of it makes me happy! And when the PC that can run Guild Wars is fixed, I'll be on to try to skill cap it... anyone else interested in trying? bluetongue.gif
