Bahamut. There were the extra Aeons, but I am pretty sure that you couldnt get those before that point.

Glad my 300+ hours on FFX finally paid off for something. (Curses Der Richter to hell)

Since I am most well versed with FFX, bluetongue.gif, just who IS Der Richter. (:

Boooo, FFX sucks. bluetongue.gif

I really don't recognize the name of that 'Der Richter' thing, but since you're cursing it I'd assume it's some optional boss. Is it that extra boss that was added for the european release of the game (as well as the 'International' version over in the states) along with the Dark Aeons? I think it was called Penance, not sure if they're the same boss or not. I think you fought it on an airship or something?

Yep. The original name is Der Richter, renamed to Penance though.

He was so incredibly insane and annoying to beat. And then the end cinema for it was NOT worth it. _sure.gif

I never had the patience, only killed a few of the easier dark aeons.

Anyway, moving onto a cooler FF game... What was the name of Zidane's final Dyne attack? (The set of skills he could use while Tranced, in FFIX)

I shall have you know that FFX is by far the best of all Final Fantasy games!

The characters were all lifeless, and the extremely linear progression of locations left the whole thing feeling a bit disjointed for me. It just felt like they had all this better technology at their hands and the ability to have voices instead of text, and they blew it by spending all their time on the pretty graphics and (lacklustre, particularly in Yuna's case) voice acting instead of actual storytelling and characterization. The 'sphere grid' approach was meh, There were bits about it that I didn't mind and others that I really didn't like very much. They tried something different, so I'm not faulting that too heavily.

If you can look past the outdated graphics, I found something like FFVI to be much more enjoyable. VII was a lot of fun too (although naturally a bit overhyped), VIII was a pretty big letdown in most areas but for me at least still seemed fun, IX was a return to the roots of the series and is a really, really underappreciated game compared with the others.

Zidane's final dyne....that would be grand lethal, I believe. It's been a while since I played FFIX, ever since the old memory card that had my good save went byebye.

Oh, right, question. Should've thought of that little issue before I posted an answer.

Final Fantasy IX again. What is the name of the 'race' that both Zidane and Kuja are members of?

Oh... uhhh... Well they come from Terra, but I don't think they called them 'Terrans' since that would have been too confusing with humans and all. I can almost remember, something to do with their race not having souls. Genomes, was it?

Yessum. Interestingly, in biology an organism's genome is its entire genetic code. The complete sequence of its DNA. Though given the origin of the Genomes in FFIX, it's not an inappropriate race name.

Blah... Guess that means I have to try to think up a question, eh?

Name a difference between the Onion Knight class in the FF3 DS remake and Onion Knight in the original game.

Aww, no idea at all? I was kinda hoping you'd answer that one for me. bluetongue.gif

I'll leave it a couple more days, then post a new one if nobody has got it yet.
