Omg, why not?! Why didn't they stalk you today? Maybe they're sick! Lovesick! Maybe you need to go find them and play doctors with them!

Rofl... I took a look at the Conservapedia article on Atheism, it's really funny stuff. bluetongue.gif

QUOTE
Reasonable Explanations for Atheism

For More Information Please See: Causes of Atheism
Matthew Henry
Matthew Henry

There are a number of reasonable explanations for atheism:

* Rebellion: Atheism stems from a deliberate choice to ignore the reality of God's existence[68]

* Moral depravity: Moral depravity has been demonstrated in the atheist community through history and through various studies.

* Superficiality: Noted ex-atheist and psychologist Dr. Paul Vitz has stated that he had superficial reasons for becoming an atheist such as the desire to be accepted by his Stanford professors who were united in disbelief regarding God.[74]

* Error: Some argue that atheism partly stems from a failure to fairly and judiciously consider the facts [75]

* State churches: Rates of atheism are much higher in countries with a state sanctioned religion (such as many European countries), and lower in states without a sanctioned religion (such as the United States). Some argue this is because state churches become bloated, corrupt, and/or out of touch with the religious intuitions of the population, while churches independent of the state are leaner and more adaptable. It is important to distinguish "state-sanctioned churches," where participation is voluntary, from "state-mandated churches" (such as Saudi Arabia) with much lower atheism rates because publicly admitted atheism is punishable by death. [76]

* Poor relationship with father: Some argue that a troubled/non-existent relationship with a father may influence one towards becoming an atheist.[77] Dr. Paul Vitz wrote a book entitled Faith of the Fatherless in which he points out that after studying the lives of more than a dozen leading atheists he found that a large majority of them had a father who was present but weak, present but abusive, or absent.[78][79] Dr. Vitz also examined the lives of prominent theists who were contemporaneous to their atheist counterparts and from the same culture and in every instance these prominent theists had a good relationship with his father.[80] Dr. Vitz has also stated other common factors he observed in the leading atheists he profiled: they were all intelligent and arrogant.[81]

* Division in religion: According to Francis Bacon, atheism is caused by "divisions in religion, if they be many; for any one main division addeth zeal to both sides, but many divisions introduce atheism." [82]

* Learned times, peace, and prosperity: Francis Bacon argued that atheism was partly caused by "Learned times, specially with peace and prosperity; for troubles and adversities do more bow men’s minds to religion."[83]

* Negative experiences with theists

I removed a few large bible quotes from there, but otherwise it's untouched. The article also goes on to link atheism to communism, mass murder, suggest they're less charitable, says that Creationists usually win debates against Evolutionists, etc.
It even goes on to suggest that atheism does not in fact exist, and that atheists are just self-deluding themselves and denying their belief.

Should keep me chuckling for a while, anyway. bluetongue.gif

*huggles*

Gah I'm so annoyed, I organized EVERYTHING to go out roaming. The body shape under the blankets, pre-opened the gate, shoes outside my window...

Then Bill's like "ain't keen anymore too tired went for an awesome skate with my brother."

OMG.

Edit: I'm fully lolling at that, Nuu. bluetongue.gif

I really don't know what any of that means, but I'm curious what you're doing with a "body shape" hidden under some blankets.

Ever noticed that when you eat fast, about 20 minutes later you go hungry for about 10 minutes before becoming full again?

I sometimes get that... usually when I'm not dieting or starving myself. bluetongue.gif

And Ziggy, it was 'cause like I made a shape under the blankets to look like a body to trick anyone who came into my room into thinking I was asleep when I would have been out roaming. I managed to fool my mum. bluetongue.gif

And I have like these freaky stalkers... they always come into work when I work and they one time asked for when I work and they always stare at me. And then I found them at the playground the other day right outside of my house. sad.gif

Edit: Eww... http://www.guardian....uk_news/story/0,,2239344,00.html

And omgomgomg exam results are out at the end of next week!! And if my 2006 Level 2 credits count towards Level 2 (which they should but NZQA and NCEA are st00pid so it might not), all I need are 12 more credits at a Merit/Excellence level and I can Achieve NCEA Level 2 with Merit. biglaugh.gif
