I really love the choice of words by Mrs. Pacey in the letter about the leadership camp...
"Could I ask that the students to ensure they have a haircut that conforms with school regulations..."
And that first bit fully doesn't make sense. She's going to be the suckiest dean ever.

*cries*
I got my results in the mail today... I'm so bloody ticked off. I Achieved Aristophanes and got Merits in the other 2 Classics papers, Merit in my Music paper and Achieved, Achieved, Merit in Spanish. They were the ones I wanted Excellence in. Well, I knew I couldn't get it in the aural for Spanish. BUT CRAP. I'm SO bloody pissed off!
Oh, but I somehow passed Physics?? I'm really confused.

QUOTE (JGJTan @ Jan 15 2008, 07:42 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
OMFG. I JUST GOT MY TIMETABLE FOR THIS YEAR IN THE MAIL. IT'S PRETTY MUCH THE BEST!!
Well, I don't have Moffitt for English so it doesn't rule as much as Norton's in terms of that... but... it's pretty much awesome!!
X block = History (Skerman)
Y block = Study (eww... okay maybe I have bad teachers for study... WILCOX?!)
Z block = Music (Botting)
U block = Spanish (Matthews)
V block = English (EVANS!!)
W block = Statistics (KOTZE!!!!!!!!!)
I was praying to not get Stowers for Maths and to get Moffitt for English... BUT. HOLY CRAP. I HAVE MR. KOTZE WHO IS PRETTY MUCH THE MAN!! I CAN'T GET OVER IT!! I'M SO EXCITED!! I'll be like "HI SIR!!!" to him when we get to class and he's going to be all like "Aiyaya if it isn't Mr. TAN again, crikeys, I should have quit my job already. Not YOU again!!" and it'll be the best year EVER!
And Evans'll be the best for English. I can't wait to study all these dystopian books and films and have a really depressing atmosphere in the classroom. It'll be GREAT!
Oh and I'll be with Alex and Bill and Adrian for Music so we'll have SO much fun!!

Aww... I'm sorry!! Lemme explain...
Mr. Skerman is the History teacher at our school and he's really cool. He's nice and friendly and doesn't really care about what you do, so long as you catch up or learn and pass your papers. He always likes to joke around and he's pretty much awesome. Pretty much one of the favourites of the students because he's nice, lax yet teaches really well and you learn heaps from him.
Mr. Botting is the head of Music and the Head of the Arts Faculty at our school. He knows stuff and is a talented musician... but uhh has trouble teaching. He lets us do whatever we want and then when exams come up or a standard is due in, he either stresses or gets really annoyed as to why no one has done any work. Pretty much a really bad teacher but really cool at the same time. Famous for terrible puns when with Mr. Sutherland (Art teacher). Addicted to coffee.
Mr. Matthews is the Spanish teacher. He was the one who organized the trip to Argentina for us in '07... well, I really shouldn't use the word organized, maybe thrown together is a better choice of words. He's really nice, jokes around heaps and somehow manages to teach us a lot when we play games or watch movies a lot of the time. Organizational skills need a little working on though, see Botting above when talking about exams or standards. Shaved his beard last year for charity. Hadn't shaved his beard for over a decade.
Mr. Evans is an English teacher and one of my favourites. His preferred topics in English and choice of films and books happen to deal with dystopian settings and/or the downfall of humanity. He believes that humans will be the downfall of themselves and hates people, going so far as to "preach" while he teaches. Pretty knowledgeable on the subject though so you learn heaps. Believes in the values of anarchy and is a vegetarian. One of his known favourite bands is Jane's Addiction.
Mr. Kotze is a Maths teacher and my favourite. He always face palms whenever he sees me. In Year 11 when he saw that I was in his class again, his immediate reaction was "Not YOU again Mr. Tan! Ayaiya..." He's really lax and teaches you heaps, yet doesn't enforce homework and exercise work because no one does anything in his class. He likes to insult people when they make stupid comments and he favours swearing in Afrikaans when he gets really annoyed. Slips into counting in Afrikaans every now and then and is pretty much the man.
Ms. Moffitt is an English teacher and she is quite literally the man, one of my favourite teachers. She literally threw a student out of the classroom on her first day of teaching (different school) because he was dared to pinch her bottom. Blackbelt in Karate and is at something like her 4th level blackbelt status. Really cool, real lax and likes to joke around and mock students. Never did learn anything in her class though but we had heaps of fun. We got to do whatever we liked and half our year consisted of watching movies.
Alex, Bill and Adrian are my friends and music buddies. You can see Alex's Bebo page here. Bill doesn't have one, instead he has a MySpace because he got lazy with Bebo. Adrian's is set to private.
So yeah. Quick rundown... sorta. If you could be bothered reading all that.

Pretty much got an awesome lineup this year.
Oh and I did that zombie survival quiz but didn't want to reply in that topic because it was like old as...
Am I the only one who's guaranteed to die? I got a 28% chance to survive in a zombie apocalypse lol.

I'm doing heaps of the quizzes on the site... and I suck so much.
41% on the internet quiz, 53 countries in 5mins, 37 colours in 5mins, 22% geek, 45% knowledge on alcohol, 51% Disney quiz...
Edit: And I'm 31% likely to eat my friends if starving. All because I've been 24-48 hours without food several times... that's just ridiculous.
