OANEQcJm2IdH0JASwFIGMHsFKSA

Weapon: Any 1-Handed Martial Weapon with a "I have the power" (Energy + 5) inscription and an 20% Enchanting suffix. Prefix is useless, so use whatever.
Off-Hand: -50 HP Grim Cesta
Armor: All superior runes and radiant inscriptions

Your health should be 55, and your energy is probably around there, too.

The idea here is to have one player spam Blood Is Power (BiP) on the rest of your team. This would be you. BiP involves sacrificing some of your health, so Masochism will come in handy here. It'll give you 4 energy each time you use BiP, which itself costs 5 energy. Spamming BiP will not be a problem for you at all. Blood Ritual (Br) is a lesser version of BiP. The only time where you'll need to use this is on the Bonder. Cast and maintain Mending on yourself. This will offset the health aspect of BiP. Bip sacrifices a huge percent of your health, but with only 55 HP, you'll be sacrificing less than 20 HP. With Mending, Blood Renewal, and Healing Breeze (HB), the 20 HP will come back to you quickly. In fact, if you do die, DP will take your health even lower. This will mean you sacrifice less health, and Health regen becomes even more effective. Additionally, Bip, Br, and HB can be used as cover enchantments on the tank, as Shadow Mesmer like to shatter bonds.

Well of Blood can be used to take away corpses that usually get consumed by Shadow Beasts. It's also pretty useful in general. You have a consume corpse skill of your own. This comes in handy when you go to kill the shard wolf in the Forest of the Wailing Lord. It's also fun to spam after a battle. bluetongue.gif Death and DP is NOT a problem, but an advantage for this build. In fact, getting high enough DP allows you to go down to 1 HP, which eliminates sacrificing health altogether. Just make sure someone has Res Chant, because Rebirth or Resurrect won't revive you. Still, try to stay out of the battle. Your job is to sit in the back and BiP the monks, eles, SS, and the tank as a cover. If you die at the start of the battle, you won't be very useful. Watch out for Shadow Ranger's Barrage, SS on an ally, or chain lighting from the thorns in the forest. The wurms can also kill you, so watch out!

The energy you give to your team in invaluable. I've spent a lot of time in the FoW as a Bonder, and I can hold 13 bonds up (-9 energy regeneration) with a good BiPer. Nukers can afford expensive nukes and healers are free to spam expensive heals like Heal Other/Party. I'll be posting more FoW team builds later.

Very nice. I like. Did you make it yourself? I should try using this at some stage, looks like fun.

I usually go in a team where a few people usually stick in the same position. We have a BiP and he uses some of these skills, but a few different ones. He didn't have masochism, blood well, or consume corpse. I got the mending and heal breeze from him. I think he had a rez, too. I saw a different variation that used the energy giving paragon shouts.

It's more or less a fairly standard build, but as always a little variation can be useful to match player preferences or the area. Good build post, Alpha.

Also, Well of Blood can be replaced with extinguish to take care of the cripple condition if a tank steps on a trap, which does tend to happen once or twice a run. You can also bring a Summon Ruby Djinn or something if you wanna contribute to offense, just don't take any direct spells. You need to stay back and spam BiP, not cast Necrosis.
