I think it would be beneficial to have a subforum for our builds. It'll make it easier for people (particularly guests) to find them.... A quick search turns up at least 40 builds (buried in 13 pages of topics, at 40 per page O_O), and a topic to keep track of the builds posted that hasn't been updated for a year bluetongue.gif.

bluetongue.gif Right, I'll get on updating the build thread started way back when. bluetongue.gif But should wait to see if we want a subform for builds.

We do have many good builds, so I would be in favor for at least a big thread.

I'd be willing to gather them all up and make a new thread if that would be preferable bluetongue.gif. It would have to be pinned so it wouldn't disappear though bluetongue.gif. A subforum seems like it might be a bit less upkeep though, and I think we have enough to warrant it.

Perhaps. I posted a build directory and pinned it a while ago. Cspace consolidated it into the important threads thread. I can see the need for such a subforum, as the builds directory was never kept up to date.

A sub-forum is probably a good idea for builds. I was against the idea of a sub-forum market since I don't think we'd get much use of it, and sub-forums tend to not get all that much attention. For something like a builds directory the ease of access probably overcomes any disadvantages, I think the inventiveness of some of our members when it comes to build ideas is a big plus for our guild, and the best way to show that off would be to have them listed semi-seperately. A pinned topic linking to each build topic is a reasonable alternative, but those things can be really hard to keep updated over the longterm.

Zoo, this was a very 1337 suggestion.
