I was seeing how a gold weapon would dye before I merched it. I forgot to switch back before selling.

I usually customize weapons I plan to keep, even if they're spellcasting ones. The wanding damage may not be significant, but being warned if you try to merch them can be helpful.

I was planning on reselling it or giving it to a different character, so I opted not to customize it. There was no inscription slot, and I didn't care for the HCT of spells 10% it had. I wanted to eventually get a HCT 20% Fire, or Energy+5 enchanted/HP+50. Or even a energy + 15 - 1r.
