My god I'm so scared, I'm pretty sure I don't have an ear infection now. My right ear was like starting to go deaf again yesterday and it was numb... then when I went to sleep, I woke up in the middle of the night with a hell-as headache and my left ear was throbbing like mad and it was a really sharp pain. So I took a panadol then took like half an hour to sleep... woke up this morning and my eyes are pretty much reddening and my left ear was clogged with blood and keeps blocking itself whenever I clear it. And my eyes were a little red last night but I thought that was just from something else. *cries* sad.gif

Got an earlier appointment with the doctor now. sicka.gif

Well I went to the GP today... he says he's never seen anything like it before. bluetongue.gif

I have conjunctivitis, an ear infection in my right ear and an unknown blood blister in my left ear which is so swollen that he can't see anything past it, so he made an appointment for me at the hospital to see an ear specialist at noon. sad.gif

Once, but like, that was on Monday arvo, and I had the whole right ear problem well before then on Saturday/Sunday. It was the swimming pool at leadership camp... if I got all this from there, then there'd be sooo many people with it. sad.gif

Phew. Crisis sort-of averted. Turns out the blood blister wasn't on my ear drum as my GP thought, but in fact it was on the roof of the ear canal BY the ear drum and had swollen so much that it looked like it was on the ear drum. So the doctor at the hospital popped it (eww, but I didn't feel it because my ear was numb from the infection) and then swabbed it, saying the swelling was unusual and that they'd send it to the lab. So she gave me broad spectrum antibiotics and if the results came back as a different and uncommon, she'd change my prescription. bluetongue.gif

Oh. And my left ear is still bleeding. LOVELY. sicka.gif
