Well, we now have a ventrilo server.

Just download the Ventrilo client and have at it. There's a nice tutorial that starts up with the program that saves me from having to explain it myself

Talked to Aaron in there a bit today. Couldn't find my regular mic, so I'll have to hunt around for that later. Also I had to adjust the sensitivity settings to get it to work properly outside of push-to-type mode, but after that it was okay. I'll have to remember to use it more often, if this becomes active then it could be a lot of fun.

Woe to those who do not use push-to-talk I don't want to hear people sneezing and coughing and breathing!

Hence the modifications to the settings, so that it's less likely to transmit background stuff like breathing. I guess I'll just have to attempt to avoid coughing or sneezing into the mike.

I use a hot button to talk. The plus right above the enter key on the num pad.
