The boy, who attends Ouachita Parish Alternative Center, reportedly had a verbal argument with other students on Tuesday and was forced to defend himself with a stick. According to Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Jay Russell, he then brought a .38-caliber handgun to school this morning and showed it to two friends, saying “I’ve got something for them.”
The boy walked across the grounds of West Monroe High School on his way to class at the alternative school.
He then tossed the weapon near a fence by the canal along the north side of West Monroe High School before going to class at the alternative school.
Although the boy initially told police it was a BB gun, the weapon was recovered and determined to be a revolver with no bullets in it.
He was taken to the Green Oaks Juvenile Detention Center and charged with carrying a gun on school property.
Anyways. That's totally my old highschool. What else, I've been expecting this. School is almost out, and if someone was gonna snap and do it, it'd be right now. Cool thing is, I've been technically out of school for the past three days. All Seniors are basically pre-evacuated. Nobody was hurt though, which is a good thing.
But Nox and I still go about it:
