Don't worry guys, it's cool. The Plasma Rifle comes with a portable shield generator, so if the armor fails, I'll still have a small amount of time to duck behind some cover to let the shield generator charge.

So... all you need is the plasma pistol, and a .45 m1911 (It's a large pistol, not unlike the 'magnum' from halo)and you'll be ready to noob combo in no time!

I actually bought the rifle. I do much better with it in the games, and think it looks cooler. Plasma pistol, for me, is just a quick way to get people in a Warthog or vehicle to be still so I can rocket them.
