cWiki Now Available!

I just finished setting up our own wiki! You can get to it through the link at the top (or www.cspacezone.com/wiki).

You have to register and confirm your email address in order to post new content. Other than that to prevent bot spam, it's pretty much entirely public.

I do think that it would be a good idea to have it so that people need to register to edit, but I am not stating that it would be only "moderators" who could edit. I am stating that it would be a good to have it so people need to login to edit any pages.

How do I externally link to a image?

EDIT: I've copied over some Public Domain help pages from Media Wiki. I will be copying over more later.

Thanks a lot!

I'm still working on some configurations, but if you just enter the image's URL without a tag, it should appear now. It was my mistake for it not working before.

Using a tag, on the other hand, would make it behave like a link.

It now says you need to confirm your email to create pages, you should change the text on the preferences file:

I found a workaround that could help with registrations and spam. I just made it so registrations are required, as well as confirmed email addresses, in order to edit content. I don't plan to send email from there, so feel free to use an email address that you don't intend to check later.

Edit: We posted simultaneously about the same thing.

Actually, mine was about changing the preferences text.

Anyway, make it send me a confirmation mail.

I have added an in depth profile to my User Page, anyone wanting one as well can copy mine over to their User Page and edit it. =)
