So I like have a history essay due in tomorrow (meant to be today but I didn't do it over the weekend so he gave an extension) but I haven't started... fun fun!!

Tea parties are perfectly acceptable. 
It's actually awesome. I found out that after the ball, Hadleigh and Jared and their partners are going back to Hadleigh's place for a tea party.
Oh, and I got coerced into taking this girl to the ball whom I'd never met. Alex and Elly pretty much were like "you're gonna take Martine to the ball, okay?" and I was just like "... hu-wha?" although apparently Alex is in the same boat, only he's like met his date once. It's pretty much this huge ploy for Sarah and Elly to get all their friends to be at the ball.
The best thing is, prefects have to talk to Mrs. Hassall (headmaster) and introduce their ball date to her... so I'll be like "Hi Mrs. Hassall, this is Martine" and she'll be like "a pleasure to meet you, how long have you two known each other?" "umm... about 15 minutes I'd say" xD

GOSH RATTY. I'm 17 now. I'm in my last year of high school!!
Although like Hadleigh and stuff are a year below me. So that's kinda the reason why I don't know Martine. Apparently she's really cool though and we'll be an awesome couple, according to everyone I've asked?
Omg and I'm having SO much fun. I have to like write this article for the school arts column by tomorrow morning so I'm going hard out at it... I'm like interviewing this guy because he managed to make it into a performance with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra... but the funny thing is, I'm making the article sound quite dirty but it's not *too* obvious.
Although like Hadleigh and stuff are a year below me. So that's kinda the reason why I don't know Martine. Apparently she's really cool though and we'll be an awesome couple, according to everyone I've asked?

Breaking news!! Ball tickets sold out today... CRAP. So like, I can't go. And like, Alex didn't manage to get any tickets either so we're pretty much screwed. Oh, and it's so funny Anurag (head boy) didn't get any ball tickets either!! 
Although Robinson is like threatening (literally) all boys who only bought single tickets, telling them they either have to find a partner or sell their tickets back to the shop, just so prefects and others can have a chance. That's so corrupt. But I don't mind not going. Instead, we're all still gonna have dinner together and then the people who got tickets are gonna go and then the people who don't are just gonna crash at Alex's place or something.
Oh and I was planning on going with someone whom I didn't even know because apparently she's really cool. Yeah, I'm kind of a really trusting person. It'd be fun anyway, not that I'm a fan of blind dates or anything.
