I did know who had taken over for him but its slipped my mind lmao.

I think what's going on is that he's resigning from the board of decision makers at microsoft, but will still own the company. I could be wrong though.

Well at work today (IT Tech for school), I had about 8 hrs of nothingness, so i looked at the news, and saw that he was leaving, upon seeing this exciting article, (which was formed on my incredible boredom) I thought, why not post this on curved space gaming community, so all my lil friends can read it and make random comments, about why I care even care about this, even though i don't really care based on the above information...

Sadly my friends, this is old news. He will step down from the board but he still owns the company. The man is taking other endeavors into charity work and focusing upon his foundation that is to help the the world in doing charitable things. No matter how you cut it, this is sadly only news, he announced his retirement from Microsoft about a one to two years ago.
